Asher broke off the kiss first, stealing one last kiss before rising to his feet. "I'm going to take a shower."

Caspian silently watched Asher walk off, his knees pressed together.

There was no reason for him to take a shower as well but he kind of expected Asher to invite him regardless.

He watched the sun set alone, not moving from his spot until Asher came back out much later.

"Jael called while you were asleep," He said, propping up his cheek with a small hand.

Asher's poker face was solid, wet skin gleaming in the warm lighting of the room as he dried his hair.

"He did? What did he say?"

Caspian's stare was fixed on Asher's physique, shamelessly turning his whole body around to keep him in his line of sight.

"Um, that's he's going to shoot you in the foot if you get rid of your phone one more time."
