-Chapter 397-

The Omega was in a pristine white bathrobe, a healthy glow to his face.

"Jael, Asher told me you'd come by." Caspian said with a harmless smile.

Jael was dumbfounded, Asher hadn't been mouthy when he said Caspian was doing a lot better than he was, it was like the Omega had sucked him of his vitality.

"Yeah, I brought your dinner." He cleared his throat.

Caspian stepped back so that he could push it in, as soon as it was past the door, Jael took a hasty step back. He didn't want to be in the middle of their private time, and he didn't want to see Caspian's face fall when the Omega asked him about Lake.

So he hauled ass out the door and hurried down the hallway without saying any more.

Doctor Perez had been saying the truth, Caspian was already fully recovered. The heavy, cloying sweet scent that accompanied his heat had thinned out as well.
