They did get to spend the rest of their day in bed, Davian tried to sneak out to cook, and each time Lake stopped him. As greedy as he was for the Alpha's cooking, he really couldn't handle Davian being more than a few feet from him.

After a hearty lunch, Lake got a call, it was from Caspian. The Omega sounded perfectly fine, if anything, he sounded even more upbeat than usual.

Lake had been worried about his friend, he had been waiting for a call from Jael to let him know what was going on. He could imagine that the mansion was still a mess from all that had happened the day before.

He didn't expect Caspian to be the one to call him, his friend had completely recovered from his induced heat and after making sure Lake was okay, plunged into his plans for camping.
