Lowest Level: First World, Realization About his Husband

Leon found a small mirror and looked at his body's appearance.

"Damn, I look the same. Just grew more physically than my old body. My old body probably had stunt growth from all those skipped meals and unhealthy diet. I also didn't get much sleep. I wonder how much my appearance will change as I awaken my bloodline. Will I have pointed ears, patches of dragon scales, and a beast's ears or tail?"

Leon noticed his baby fat was all gone and what was left was a lean waist and toned muscle. He didn't have abs like Kayden but he had a feeling that once his powers were awakened, he would also have some abs. Leon had long layers of wavy hair. He had let it flow freely, making him look more relaxed and carefree. Both his hair and eyes were a deep red-ish pink. His lips were a healthy pink that looks just like the color of a bunny's glossy tongue. Giving him a gentle and approachable aura that surrounded him, together with a tiny hint of seductiveness. The original owner of the body had hardly any money and so he decided to start finding Tiriana. That way he could be nearby to observe the plot up close and to shift the storyline to another direction.

"LordKittyCat! Come out!"

'What…Did you just call me LordKittyCat?!'

'Yep. Scan the land and create a map for me please."

'...doesn't the town have paper maps that you can easily buy?'

Leon gave him a raised brow and bluntly responded.

"I have no money. The original also did not have money. What else am I supposed to do?"

'...good point.'

Leon waited for the map to be completed. Seeing the process bar quickly reaching 100%, he changed into the only other pair of clothes from the old ragged bag laying beside the bed.

"In my world, I grew up poor. In this world, I am still poor…"

Leon thought of ways to earn money. He noticed an adventurer's card in the old ragged bag. Looking at the identification information on it, he marveled on how such a timid person was able to apply for one.

[Leon (human)

Grade D Adventurer

Registered with the Adventurers Guild at the age of 16.

Hometown: Unknown

Has completed 99 low grade quests to this day. ]

"Uhhh…this is pitiful. Don't tell me the low grade tasks he took were the collection of herbs and ingredients. There's nothing in his bag other than some dried meat that won't even last me a day. He also drifted from one small town to another. Avoiding the major crowds. Wait, then why is his body healthy?"

'It was actually in a worse state than your original body. He had been starving for awhile and struggled to make ends meet. You took over and your goldfinger sync with your player stats within the game.'

"Oh… Then, does that mean that I can retrieve an item from my summoned character? Like borrowing a weapon I had crafted before?"

Leon had a realization and was excited.

'I don't know. You'll have to try and see if it'll work. Maybe it'll function like your storage space.'

Leon pulled up the game and clicked through the three tabs.

"Huh? Where is Kayden? I always see him when I open the game before. Maybe I can try sending him a letter with the gifting setting?"

'Wait, see if you can even retrieve the item from the space.'

"Ah, you're right."

Leon zoomed the screen to the weapon chest. No option screens popped up to let him open the chest or to take the items. Leon groaned in frustration.

"Why can't this be easier and just let me give a mental command to retrieve the items I want? Ehhh?! I got it!"

Leon was groaning in annoyance when the small dagger that was carelessly laying beside the chest to which he was glaring at faded from the weapons chest and appeared in his storage space. Leon then attempted to give a mental command to open the chest. He watched in amazement as the chest actually opened.

"Huh? These are the three outfits I had crafted to the highest grade. As well as these two swords. The durability stats are still full."

Leon had had a faint guess before but he felt like the game had become real. Leon moved the view on the screen to observe all the rooms. Before, when playing on his phone, the view point only showed one small area of the background. Now that he was able to look at everything, he could sense and notice more things. Like the things in the rooms that he was never able to see or the sense that there was someone actively living in this space. Leon opened the other chest which was larger than the one he had looked at. Inside was filled with weapons. Of all kinds of grades except the highest ones in the other chest. Their durability had been used up and cracked into two pieces or they were about to be used up and break.

All the descriptions stated that it was made by himself. These were his weapons that he had gifted to the other. Kayden was real. His husband was not an NPC. He has been using the weapons he had given him. His love for the other is still the same. But he felt dreadful of what would happen if they actually met. Will Kayden recognize him as his significant other? And how will he confess that he was his lover? Leon shook away the sensitive thoughts and focused on the task at hand. The more he gains world energy, the faster he can unlock the game restrictions and find more information. Leon placed everything back in place and closed the chests. He closed the game screen and looked at his storage space.

In the first square was a dagger. He sent a mental command to take out the dagger and it formed on the floor in front of him. He did it a few times and figured out that if he sent the mental command with his strong intentions or will, he was able to choose where the item formed. This was a good way to do sneak or unexpected attacks. He could recall the item after he threw it and then have it form in his hands again. But he can't control the dagger like a person would with telepathic abilities. Leon was ready and looked at the time on the holographic map. Only a few hours had passed since he entered this world. It was morning time, close to 12pm in the afternoon.
