As soon as I saw those unknown strangers at our home, I was in a bit of daze.
Like, who are these people? Do they know my father? Are they here for my dad's insurance?.
I shook my head to clear my thoughts as I realized I was standing like a creep in our front door, wasting time on pointless thoughts and questions inside my head.
"Otousan?"
I called for my father's presence.
"..."
No one answered.
But as soon as I call for my father, I attracted the attention of those four beautiful women.
I felt their eyes, their undivided, sharp gaze all around me, like I was being hugged like a rattlesnake.
Of course, I gazed back.
Suddenly, a mature, tall woman, yet so elegant, so youthful, so sophisticated along with a glorious and radiant smile written on her face, stood up slowly and graciously from the old couch.
"Ray-kun?" She called my name with such a heavenly and alluring tone in her voice.
I raised one eyebrow to signal my suspicion towards her.
As she stood among the three sitting women, I had a better look of her.
I could say she's in her early 40s but her face, her body and posture makes you hard to identify her precise age. She has this long, tantalizing, smoothly waving light hazelnut hair. Her eyes so dark, like a shadow in the distance, but I saw the darkish color wane as soon as she stands up among the crowd and was kissed by the sunlight that illuminated our house. Her lips, dark as well but the shape of it, plumpy, full and pouty and, I could tell that many men would find it seductive, sexy and persuasive. Her body is like an hourglass figure. If I I'm right, she could be a widely renowned, very successful Japanese supermodel. Her breasts were full and round, her skin pale and white as a snow, glowing and glassy, even those tattoos couldn't cover the divine qualities of her skin. She's only wearing a casual black kimono outfit, revealing her long, pale, smooth and shapely legs.
I didn't respond to her call as I kept thinking about something else. My gut tells me this woman could be dangerous and sly.
"Ray-kun?" She called me the second time.
Finally, my thoughts stopped.
"Yes?" I answer.
Her heavenly and bright smile didn't stop waver. She suddenly ran towards me and gave me a quick, warm hug.
I was so dumbfounded I didn't reciprocate her hug.
"Oh, you came back to me." She whispered.
Now, I'm evenmore dumbfounded, thanks to this woman.
As I was about to remove myself from her hug....
"Ray!"
There he is, my father entered the scene.
The woman quickly broke the tender and warm hug.
I couldn't help but to smile softly after seeing my father, Shinjo, after five years.
"Ray, you little shit, come here." Then he gave me a tight, fatherly hug.
"What's up, Otousan?" I quickly asked him with a smile on my face.
My father then broke the hug.
"Oh, where's my manners..." My father said with a smile on his face too.
"This is Sakura Himura, my wife and your stepmother." He added while holding Sakura's hand.
Both of them saw my mildly confused face.
Sakura gave me an awkward and shy smile.
"We're just married on papers, Ray-kun." Sakura explained.
Now, I'm more confused.
"It's a long story, son, but we'll tell you over dinner tonight." My father said.
"Come on, Okusan, let's leave the kids to introduce themselves to Ray." My father said to Sakura.
"Right, we'll have too cook dinner for Ray-kun." Sakura happily said.
"Yeah, and you'll tell us later what kind of fucked up shit you've been doing these past five years."
My father joked.
I chuckled and nodded at him.
My father left with smile on his face to go to the kitchen but...
Sakura moved closer to me and whispered something again, but this time....
"I can't wait to have you for myself, Ray-kun." She whispered in a such seductive and flirtatious tone.
Then she quickly followed my father to the kitchen.
I aggressively furrowed my eyebrows.
"What the hell was that?" I asked myself in deep thought.
With wave of thoughts lingering inside my mind, I didn't notice there are still three women, gazing at me like I'm like a cornered prey.
I paid them no mind and planned to go straight to my old room because, like I said, jetlag is fucking me up hardcore.
I bowed at the women to welcome them, gave them a half-smile to acknowledge their presence, and went straight to my room without looking back.
I'm back from where it all began, where I grew up, where I did a lot of things as a little lad, as teenage boy, and as a young adult. All those childhood memories came flooding back like they were pulled in an instant, whether they were joyful memories, melancholic memories or depressing memories. They were banded together, and for the first time in my life, I felt so damn nostalgic. So nostalgic that the image of my mother suddenly flashed in my mind like a jack in a box.
"Fuck." I muttered, shook my head, and took a deep sigh.
Suddenly, I felt something behind me.
When I turned around, I saw the three women standing close to my door ajar as if they needed something from me.
