"Kidnapped"

The night was still, and the silence of the house felt almost strange. I sat in the living room, the dim light of a single lamp casting long shadows on the walls.

The faint aroma of the coffee mingled with the scent of my book as I turned another, my mind drifting between the lines of the novel I held.

My encounter with Hera and Valkyrie earlier felt kind of suspicious and unexpected, the weight of it hung heavily on my shoulders. Even though their secrecy was unconcealed, I still had tended Valkyrie's wound with care, and once I was certain she was stable, they had both departed with urgency in their voices, especially Hera's.

But I still had many questions, and soon they will be answered by Hera, Valkyrie, and Rakshesha, hell, even the fourth woman and Queen herself.

I took a sip from my coffee cup, savoring the warmth of the coffee as it spread through me. I tried to lose myself in the pages of the book, but my mind kept wandering about the sudden appearance of the Queenswomen here at Tokyo.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed on the table beside me, breaking the deafening silence.

I picked it up, expecting a mundane notification, but I felt a little stress as I saw a series of frantic messages from my childhood friend, Akane.

"Ray-kun, help me! They're following me again. I can't shake them off!"

Her messages kept on going.

"Ray-kun, I don't know what to do. They've taken my bodyguards with ease, and I don't know what to do."

"They're so many. I'm so scared, Ray-kun. Please, help me!"

"Ray-kun, are you there? Please, I'm on my way to your home. They're everywhere!"

Each message was more desperate than the last, filled with palpable fear. I felt a surge of concern and anger welling up inside of me.

I had always been protective of Akane, and the thought of her being in danger ignited a fierce determination within me.

Just as I was about to respond, the front door burst open. I shot up from my chair, my book falling to the floor with a thud.

There was Akane, stumbled into my house, her face pale, drenched in sweat, and her body trembling with fear. Her eyes darted around, wide with terror, and she struggled to catch her breath.

"Ray-kun!" Akane called out.

But as soon as she was about to rush towards me, a group of men dressed in dark, unassuming clothes stormed in behind her.

"Let me go! Help me, Ray-kun!" Akane screamed, and my blood ran cold.

Three men grabbed Akane roughly by the arm, pulling her back outside the door.

"Let her fucking go!" I bellowed, my voice filled with fury.

I lunged forward with speed, but two idiotic men tried to blocked my path.

"Stay out of this, you fucking foreign ape." One man growled, his voice cold and menacing.

"Scum." I snarled, my clenched fists were ready to be bathed in blood.

"I said-" As the other man tried to yell, I swiftly took his throat and break it, killing him instantly.

"You fucking monster!" The other man screamed as he swung his steel baseball at me but I dodged it with grace and swift.

Dodging his attack, I hurriedly grabbed his steel bat, and I bludgeoned him to death.

Akane's cries echoed outside my house as she was dragged towards the waiting vehicle outside. Even though, I killed their two men in seconds, I watched in helpless rage as Akane was thrown into the back of black SUV, the door slamming shut with a chilling finality.

"Goddammit." I muttered as the engine roared to life, and the vehicle sped off, leaving me standing alone on the porch.
