Bree did her best not to look bored at Yorgan and Ana's lecture. The Large room seemed to grow larger as what had felt like a room that could fit maybe a hundred or so spectators had filled up and now had hundreds of them, an assortment of Human and Non-Human students had gathered to listen to the lecture, less than half the spectators numbers where made up of Yorgan and Ana's Thrid year class who where required to show up or be faced with a failed grade.
Everyone else had shown up simply because they wanted to, and as far as Bree could tell none had known she would be at the lecture, but from the mumbling of the crowd before the lecture had begun the possibility that Ana's days as a teacher were numbered had spread like wildfire. Many students from all years had come to watch what might have been her last lecture. The first and second years were curious as to what they might end up missing, and the fourth years and above had shown up for combinations of nostalgia and wanting to see one of her lectures at least one final time.
While a lot of the faces were unfamiliar to her, she spotted a few from the previous day, the little Corgi girl from Olu's sword lesson, and later Sweet class was with several other Corgi-like creatures that she figured might have been her siblings. She saw the sword demon who had lost to Olu when she had first arrived, who was looking at Bree a little more intensely than Bree felt was necessary.
But among all the faces there were three whose names she also remembered, Chauncy, Bellamy, and B had snagged seats in the front row, upon noticing her Chauncy pointed her out and she received a few waves, but no words as they had only just noticed her when the lecture started.
That had been nearly an hour ago, Yorgan had proved that the twenty or so minute-long lecture he had given to her about Metal Magic had been the cliff notes as he was only just finishing it off.
"-So remember, while a lot of magic may not seem all that special to you, it doesn't mean it isn't, just because everyone can use a basic levitation charm, doesn't change the fact that a hundred years ago it was a dead art, all things can be remembered with hard work, but all things can effortlessly be forgotten by time," there was a clap as Yorgan moved out of the way and let Ana take the stage.
"Hello class," She waved to them, and the room exploded with a response.
"Good Afternoon Professor Houstan," the much more ambitious response from the crowd told Bree that just about everyone had indeed shown up for Ana, Yorgan just being in the right place at the right time. "I would like to thank Professor Yorgan for his in-depth telling of how it is theorized Metal and Levitation magics were lost to time and for the stories on how they were rediscovered thanks to Archeological findings from civilizations forgotten by time and the years of research that followed," She clapped, and in turn, Yorgan got a much mightier clap that he had originally gotten upon finishing his speech.
"Now, as you know I deal with Magical studies, and as those of you visiting from previous lectures might know, Professor Yorgan gave my usual parts of the speech, today we have a special guest, a visiting dignitary from the recently founded Kingdom of Melodia, Upon her request that the rules of all being treated equally on school grounds be applied to her, please refrain from calling her Queen and give Ms.Bree a Proper greeting,"
Bree smiled at Ana's extra care put into making sure her request not to be called Queen was followed, most everyone gave her a polite hello, although even over the roar from the crowd B still managed to be heard.
"My Windmill got bigger," He cheered, Chauncy could be seen laughing but she couldn't hear him as Bellamy tried to look like he wasn't with B.
"Now for those who are unaware, and I assume that to be just about everyone, Bree here has agreed to talk about old and forgotten magic, as she herself originates from an old and forgotten age,"
A Few students laughed at the statement, while a few others seemingly took it that Ana was being unintentionally rude, She waited for them to shimmer down before dropping the hammer, "For anyone curious as to the time-period Ms.Bree originates from, she is from the age prior to the formation of the Lunar Sea," there was a mixture of students who didn't understand the significants of that statement, and those who did.
"That's Obserd," The Large Woman who had been Olu's opponent the previous day cried out loudly, "That would set her birth in the same age as the Great Lord Mimzy, she has to be–" She cut off harshly, as the words to accuse Bree of lying had about to escape her throat, she seemingly remembered who she was talking to.
"Please raise your hand if you wish to speak Ms.Madeline," Ana said, lightly tapping her nose as she spoke, seemingly to remind the audience she could smell lies. Madeline's rage turned into some other emotion, due to her anatomy Bree couldn't tell what expression it was, having four eyes and no visible mouth made it hard.
Madeline sat back down, the intense gaze she had been looking at Bree somehow growing more intense.
