"As Madeline gently put it, Ms.Bree is indeed from the primordial age from whence the eldest Demon Lord originated, to any who might think my nose is not enough to confirm this next point, feel free to ask the Headmistress, who received a positive appraisal result that Ms. Bree is indeed an Elf," Several dozen voices rang out, just about every insult was aimed towards Bree's height, or the classic bug-eyed insult,"
"Always with my eyes," Bree muttered irritably, having no rebuttal to being short and not fully caring about it, the insults about her eyes simply felt like they were just trying to hit a nerve for the sake of making her feel bad.
Having apparently realized from her tone that she was sensitive about her eyes, in no short part due to the never-ending insults thrown at them, Ana slammed her small fist against the deck, and her voice became very loud.
"What was that 'bout eyes?" She demanded, all the students went quiet nearly at once, allowing everyone to hear B call out in what he had probbaly tought would be a loud room.
"I got Big eyes to Miss. Bree, I know it can be hard sometimes, but they're just jealous of how much hotter we are than them," As Bellamy gave in and finally started laughing with Chauncuy as B challenged any who dared mockthe size of ones eyes to fight him, Bree vaguely recalled having subconsciously noticed B's eyes seemed slightly large on his face when she had first seen him, but had just assumed it was a Lizard-Man thing. Hearing that his Big eyes had caused enough strife in his life that he had a pep talk ready for it, Bree smiled at his attempts at reassurance, however oddly specific they might have been.
"Thank you, B," She called back, who proudly wooted back before sitting down upon a polite request from Ana.
"To any who didn't know, or have forgotten, the amount of magical potential one is born with is shown in the size or number of one's eyes comparative to one's race, one such example being our own Ms.Madeline, who was born with an extra set of eyes due to her latent magical abilities, or this young Lizard Man who I hear, despite being placed in the troubled class, has the highest magical potential of any of the current First years,"
"Isn't that the perv who busted through the wall of the Womans changing room?," A Voice called out.
"I was beating the hell out of a peeping tom," B shot back angrily, a fair number of people responded with a lot of insincere-sounding words that they believed him, "May and April were in that room and he had a Camera, I don't care if you all want to side with that perv just because he's the captain of Sword club, I did what had to be done and I'd do it again," A few more call out that he was a perve but B ignored them as Ana slammed her hands down again and regained control.
"Now, if we're done insulting our Guest speaker directly to her face…" Ana took a moment to stare at the students daring someone to defy her, when none did she continued, "She will now take center stage, I know we're runing a little short on time, but please raise your hands and let her pick who she lets ask the first question,"
Ana stepped out of the way and Bree took center stage at the table as a lot of hands shot up, not wanting her first question asked to be an insult from a student trying to be funny, she chose a safe bet in the form of Madeline.
"Since you're a mage, how did you become skilled in sword combat?" She asked curiously, Bree chuckled nervously, realizing that with Ana in the room she'd had to be honest to Madeline and crush poor Honeycuts heart when the news reached him.
"Well if i'm to be honest," Bree chuckled nervously, "I'd never actually swung a sword before yesterday," The Room was quiet as she continued, "I was honestly just flailing about, I have no idea how to use a sword,"
"Just like Lord Mimzy," Madeline muttered as she sat back down.
"Wow," Ana cleared her throat and motioned for more hands, the class obliged, and sticking with familiar faces, she picked Chauncy, B was too busy sitting proudly, and Bellamy was seemingly just along for the ride.
"How'd you beat Lord Argit?" He asked curiously before nervously adding, "Yesterday when you were out sub you pulled out his Fan Ax and mentioned you won it in a fight,"
"I used Ice Magic," Bree replied happily, already aware that the statement would cause problems, but with Ana in the room she had little choice but to be honest, a useful if not dangerous skill. "I didn't know it had become a dead art,"
Unsurprisingly the room exploded into chaos as Bree waited for Ana to calm the storm, she had to wait a hot second as Both Ana and Yorgan had become part of the storm, seeing as they both had a shared interest in lost magic forms she couldn't blame them at the concept of one being dangled in front of them.
As Ana started quieting the room down, Bree decided to get ahead of any more accusations being thrown her way, she turned her ring back into staff mode and tapped a candle Yorgan had been using during his lecture on levitation magic.
"Freeze," She said in a soft tone as Black ice enveloped the candle, the storm of sound only grew louder when faced with proof that she could use Ice Magic.
"Why is it Black?" Ana asked as she examined the Ice, the honest answer was that Bree had bought an expansion pack that allowed the addition of customizable effects to a variant of things in the game, customizing magic color based on the Skill tree it originated from had been one of the many things it allowed her.
But since Argit also had colored magic Bree was able to reply with a shrug, "Argit also has colored spells, maybe it's just what happens if you become proficient enough with a certain type of magic?"
