Lectures End

"I have heard the Demon Lords, and a select few other groups, have colored spell, but I've never seen it before," Yorgan examined the Ice with intrest as he spoke, taking it in his hands as he did so.

"I'm supprised you don't have any Ice Magic," Bree noted to Yorgan.

"Why would I have Ice Magic?" Yorgan seemed to find the idea silly, "It's true I originiate from a cold bearing race, but there's no notible history of Ice Magic among giants,"

"You're a Frost Giant," Bree shot back, having used Appraisal to confirm her susspicions, "Your race were the progenitors of Ice Magic, similar to how Dragons created Fire Magic, Dwarved created Earth Magic, Elfs crafted the art of healing magic," Bree looked around at blank expressions, "I take it those facts were lost to time them?" She shook her head, "I need to put in a formal complaint with Demon Lord Mimzy, he should know all these basic facts, but then again it might just be he forgot over thousands of years or didn't think to pass the information along?"

"My race created Ice Magic?" Yorgan seemed beyond interested in the information as he examined the Magic Ice, Bree pondered if just the Ice resulting from her spell would allow him to reverse-engineer the magic.

Before Ana could say anything else a chime echoed through the room and Ana sighed, "Well I'm afraid that's it for the lecture, you all have classes to attend, so please let my third years leave before you all begin your departure."

As the students began leaving Ana took a moment to join Yorgan in marveling at Bree's Ice Magic, "Think of all the things we could do with Ice Magic," Ana said excitedly, "We could improve enchanted freezers so they can retain their usability in hot areas!"

"I wanted to ask, since you don't have Ice magic, how do magic freezers work?"

"A Combination of Water magic and Fire magic, using a fire charm to suck up heat from the water to make it very cold, but it was never strong enough to make the water ice over," Bree found the idea interesting but pondered why it hadn't produced ice, Ice Magic itself in the game required the player have high enough stats in Water, Fire, and Wind Magic before it became unlockable.

"Oh yeah," Bree scratched her chin, "You forgot the Wind magic,"

The two looked over at her as she made a Golden flame in one hand, and a ball of water in the other before placing a little wind tunnel between the two, upon activating the skill that allowed Fire to suck up heat the Wind tunnel increased its efficiency, and at the same time once the heat was sucked through the Winds turned icy cold.

Bree proceeded to blow the icy winds over the water and it began icing over as the flame continued sucking up any heat, "Heat sap alone just isn't strong enough, but a little wing to fule it makes all the difference,"

Bree looked over and found they were both already halfway through drawing up a step-by-step process for using the three schools of magic to formulate Ice Magic, "Do keep in mind that one needs to be able to use all three skills to acquire Ice magic, although I imagine using a magic item to substitute one or two of them might yield the same results, although I recommend at least a basic understanding of Water and Wind, Heat sap is only really needed as training wheels for races with no aptitude for Ice magic,"

"Thank you greatly, Ms.Bree," Yorgan bowed as he thanked her, "I need to ask the Headmistress about getting a few wands enchanted with Heat Sap," Bree wished Yorgan a good day and was about to do the same to Ana when she noticed a few Students coming out of the crowd, Madeline was walking her way, with Chauncy and crew keeping a respectable distance but also heading towards her way before leaving.

"I would like to formally apologize for my earlier outburst ma'am," Madeline told bree with a bow, "I understand on school grounds all should be treated as equal, but as a nobel woman of Cleminz it is unforgivable for me to judge one based on apperances, I am very sorry,"

"It's ok dear," Bree assured her, "I assure you of all the nobles who had questioned my origins, you're the only one thus far who at least listened to reason when provided proof, Argit provided King Thomas my Appraisal results, and he insisted it was false and I be imprisoned for complaining about his son throwing chewed up food at me," Madeline looked at Bree for a moment.

"That was not a lie," Ana noted, sounding disappointed in the realization that the King had done such a thing. King Thomases arrest and failed assassination attempt on his wife haveing not yet been made into public knowledge.

"I will pass that disgusting story along," Madeline replied, "I doubt many will be happy at the news that Maragon's King harassed a foreign dignitary just because he thought he could,"

"Of that, we can agree," Madeline wished Bree a good day, and as she headed for the exit.
