The Alpha's new bride

Nova woke up, her breath ragged, the remnants of her dream still clung to her. It was clear and frightening to her. she quivered as she saw Asher promenading towards her.

Her heart pounded in her chest, fear gripped her, her breath coming in ragged gasps,

"Asher? Whattt a-rre youuu doing here? She stammered, looking down to avoid his gaze.

Asher's eyes beheld coldness, his expression deadly like he could kill her at that instant. Nova gulped hard, she was lost of words. She wished all this could be a dream.

She expected this to happen in reality because she had seen this in her dream, her wish was that the reality should be less painful than her dream.

"Nova, WHY! How dare you try to expose me," he sneered, "Do you think everyone would believe you? You are going to regret doing this, Nova. You either beg for my forgiveness on your knees or you face the consequences"

Nova's mind became blank, her heart racing, she blamed Maia in her mind and had been gathering the courage to confront Asher if he came to her.

But now, facing him in person, she felt the full weight of the danger, Nova shifted backwards, her back hitting the wall.

"No, Asher, I won't beg you. What you've done is wrong and they need to know."

Asher face twisted in anger, "You will regret this, kneel now or else the consequences will be bad"

Nova gulped hard, she felt his words and reactions were the exact remnants in her dream. She pondered on what to do because she feels Asher is dangerous now.

Asher's beast proclaimed to come out, but he forced his beast back in. His beast is furious at Nova and if Orion comes out then Nova is doomed.

He clenched his fist, trying to take control.

"Let me out'' his beast, Orion, roared out trying to overtake Asher's body.

"No I can't, you are dangerous"

While Asher combated with his beast, Nova stared at Asher in fear and curiosity, she felt his focus had been shifted to himself. Then she stumbled and gasped raggedly as she saw Asher striding to her

She noticed his changes, his reddish eyes and fangs as he licked his lips. Nova knew Asher's beast had taken control, but she mustered up her courage.

She detested being treated like trash, but her courageous mind shattered as Asher held her neck tightly. His grip stronger than ever, Nova couldn't breathe.

Tears trickled down her face as she thought her world would end soon. Nova gave up the struggle and accepted Asher's strangulation.

Leaving this wretched life is much better than to live it out, she thought to herself and closed her eyes.

Amarynthia barged into Alex's room with an annoyed look, she walked to Alex's bed and cleared her throat to notify Alex of her presence.

Alex's who lay on the bed sat up frustrated at Amarynthia disrespectful act,

"Can't you knock?" Alex sneered. "I rule this kingdom, Amarynthia, not you and you have no right to barge into my room. Don't feel too big because everyone listens to you"

Amarynthia bowed her head and left his room, she placed a subtle knock on his door twice and entered Alex's room.

"I am sorry for that disrespectful behavior, Alpha. But don't also forget that my decisions are needed for the well-being of this pack" Amarynthia warned Alex.

The room fell silent as they shot blazers to each other's eyes, their gaze not leaving each other. Amarynthia wasn't pleased with his fetish ways.

She breathed out and inquired the Alpha's permission to sit, her purpose was to bring him down to the level where her decisions didn't threaten his authority.

"My king, the decisions has been made, your new bride has been chosen and she is outside waiting for you, king Alex''

Alex became furious, he knew they would plot this out without his interference. He calmed himself and acted cool.

Alex sat on his furry sofa, his demeanor looking cool as ever.

"Ok, let her in. Whereas I don't have a right to say anything. It's all the moon goddess idea. You can leave and send her in" Alex spoke out, not leaving a hint of anger in his voice.

Amarynthia smiled and left his room, her mission accomplished. Alex stood from his seat and walked to a table, searching for his best book.

His breath hitched as he inhaled the feminine scent on his body, hands were wrapped around his body in a seductive manner.

Alex flared with anger. In an angry manner, he removed the lady's hand and slapped her hard.

She fell to the ground, trembling. Alex's eyes became ferocious.

"How dare you, you had the audacity to touch me. Didn't Amarynthia taught you manners. Get out now" Alex roared, his eyes still ferocious.

The lady kept trembling, her mind went blank, clueless of what to do.

"Get out! or is that too hard for you to understand"

Alex held her arm tightly and threw her out of his room, he turned to leave but Amarynthia halted him.

"What's wrong, Alpha, this isn't right. She is your new bride and you ought to respect her"

Alex scoffed and laughed loudly, he felt disgusted by hearing the word "respect" from a person that doesn't know how to use the word.

"Amarynthia, that's why my decisions are also needed. You talked about respect but this lady dares to hug me without my permission. Her audacious ways to enter without knocking means you instructed her to do so. Think before you talk, Amarynthia" Alex said all in one breath and entered his room.

He ruffled his hair in frustration, He feels Amarynthia has become bolder because of the authority placed on her.

What can he do? the moon goddess and everyone supports her and she is powerful beyond boundaries.

Alex's anger turned into a cool smile as he reminisced the things he would do to make his authority known and greater than that of Amarynthia.

He summoned for his new bride,

"Wait and see what happens now, Amarynthia" Alex grinned.
