Pure Cloud Palace

In a beautiful place above the clouds, a beautiful young lady, knocked on a majestic white door, that had black engraving on it.

A tranquil voice spoke softly but sounded as if it was right next to her ear "Come in".

The young lady responded "Master, elder ling sent a message saying they will arrive here within a day."

The anonymous voice spoke again "Is that all you came to speak to me for, or is it that you miss your master, if so you know that your more than welcome to come in disciple of mine."

The young lady, who is the disciple of the owner of the voice, responded with a tinge of hesitance "I'm sorry master I do miss you, but that's not all I've come to report. Elder Ling also said you will be furious upon their return without revealing why."

....

Back on the pure white carriage, that now had an extra passenger, the young miss and her attendant continued to converse.

Suddenly the young miss heard a voice in her head "Young miss, I'm sure you're aware that what you are doing will make the palace master furious. It will only reinforce her reasoning for believing you'll follow in your mother's steps."

The young miss responded through the telepathic link that was established by the unknown voice "Elder Ling, my grandmother knows the path I have chosen, no matter how angry she gets she'll have to accept it. Plus it's not what you're making it out to be, it's just my nature to be kind.

She giggled as she said the last part very sarcastically.

....

Horo was originally drifting around in darkness for a while, even though he was supposed to be unconscious due to his body forcibly shutting down, he was oddly conscious the whole time.

He felt like he drifted in darkness for an extremely long time, that was until he began to experience a bunch of dreams that should have been long but only lasted for an instances.

Every dream was extremely vivid but he couldn't remember anything about them once they passed.

This continued for what felt like centuries.

Suddenly he opened his eyes, and when he did it felt like two suns fell in them.

When the burning in his eyes stopped, all he saw was white. Everything was just white, white, and more pure white. Since white was hurting his eyes a bit from being closed for so long one would think he would be bothered, but on the contrary it made him smile.

He thought of his sister. She always wore white and white only, as that's what she liked the most. She told him that it was the second best thing after her, it being stainless and devoid of any particular thing state, including color.

As of late everything seemed to remind him of his sister. He clinched his fist as he thought of his mission to rescue her.

Exiting his reverie he noticed he didn't have any thing except shorts on, and all of his injuries has been healed.

Next he wondered where he currently was and how he got here, he knew that he had succumbed to his injuries and passed out, but what happened after that.

He had hoped that he would recover enough energy and heal passively before a beast showed up and enjoyed a free meal.

He eventually sat up after staring up at the ceiling while processing his thoughts for a while, and as soon as he did someone entered the room.

It was a young woman with a pink robe that had pure white clouds embroidered on it, with pink hair and eyes to match.

She spoke in surprise "Oh, you're awake."

Horo asked in surprise "How long have I been out, and where am I?"

The girl responded "Sorry about that I wasn't expecting you to be awake, I originally came to supply you clothing. My name is Olivia, and you're in the Pure Cloud Palace currently.

He wore a stunned look on his face and asked "Pure Cloud Palace? How'd I get here?

Olivia responded "My young miss is the one who saved you, I'm going to inform her that you have woken up so that she can explain everything to you herself."
