Isadora sat lost in thought on the stool, her mind preoccupied. Vanessa approached her from behind and gently tapped her shoulder, breaking the silence.
"Hey, how's the party treating you?" Vanessa asked with a friendly smile.
Isadora turned around, her expression weary. "Honestly, I'm feeling drained. This party has been overwhelming, and I'm frustrated that Mrs. Adriana insisted I serve the guests. It's not my responsibility," she said, her voice laced with exhaustion.
Vanessa sympathized, "I know it's unfair, but we have no choice."
Isadora let out a deep sigh, "I'm tired of everything."
Vanessa cautioned, "Be careful, Isadora. You know Mrs. Adriana will seek revenge for the drink you spilled on her dress and the embarrassment you caused. She won't let it slide."
Isadora's response was resolute, "It was an accident, and I'm prepared to face whatever she decides to do."
