"Have you done what I told you to do?" The master's voice echoed through the study, his long hair framing his face.
The servant nodded, his face a mask of obedience. "Yes, it is done, my lord," he replied. "I added the letter to one of the books in the library. She won't refuse to read it."
The master's lips curled into a satisfied smile. "Perfect," he said, his voice low and menacing. "Let's see if any of them have the guts to do the needful."
The servant hesitated, a flicker of doubt crossing his face. "But my lord, isn't the search for her mother going to disrupt your plans?" he asked, his voice filled with uncertainty.
The master pulled his hair back into a low ponytail, his eyes cold and calculating. "Not at all," he replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I know what I'm doing. Her mother isn't even related to my revenge but he was there when it happened."
