I couldn’t believe my bestfriend was getting married. I was thrilled but at the same time scared of what the future held for me with her being married and all that. It looked like it was going to be lonely as hell for me. Cameron and Larissa walked down to the dance floor, hand in hand, ready to get their groove on. They looked so happy. She once sacrificed her happiness for me, now it was time for her to choose herself and the man who loved her. A tear threatened to drop from my eyes. Fuck, why was I being emotional?
“You’re going to be fine.” Byron shouted over the loud music.
“What?” I asked not understanding what he meant.
“Larissa getting married. You’re going to be fine.” He understood my silent fear.
“I know I will be.” I shouted back. I most certainly have no choice than to be. He moved to sit beside me so we wouldn’t have to keep yelling over the music. The music kept getting louder and louder with each new playlist.
