A game

I barely had a second to breathe before Isabel, of all people, cleared her throat and spoke up.

"Let's play a game," she said, adjusting her glasses like she was about to propose something logical and not absolute mayhem.

I blinked at her. "Wait… you want to play a game?"

Isabel wasn't exactly the game-playing type. She was more of a stands in the background, silently judging, while making sure everything runs smoothly type.

For her to suggest something meant that this was either going to be incredibly weird or extremely chaotic. Probably both.

Chloe immediately perked up. "Ooooh, I love where this is going."

Carmen, however, narrowed her eyes at Isabel like she'd just asked us to rob a bank. "No."

Isabel ignored her. "It'll be fun."

Lydia smirked. "If Isabel says it's fun, it's probably going to be dangerous."

"I like dangerous," Chloe said, already too invested in this.
