the day of the training event (part 3)

In the forest that was set on fire max and Peter were in the sights of Jason and ryu.

One can control shadows.

And one controls fire.

And the two rookies unfortunately have to deal with these two strong seniors.

Peter: so what are we gonna do?

Max: why are asking me? I don't know how to deal with this?

The shadow constructs charged at the two and ryu shot out fire balls.

The two ran away from the chaos and dodged the fire balls.

Max made a black wall to block the fire balls and slow down the shadow beasts.

But while they were looking for a place to hide max felt a spark of energy increase.

They managed to get away from the chaos and max had an idea.

Max: Pete I think I can take ryu on.

Peter: dude no offense but how are you going to beat him?

Max: I can absorb his fire so I'm probably a Match for him.

Peter: so you want me to take the shadow king?

Max: yeah. you can probably match him in numbers thanks to your cloning ability.

Peter: I think your right but still this is basically a suicide mission.

Max: you got any better ideas?

Peter shook his head.

Max: so is either this or run around like chickens.

The two sensed something coming and they got on the ground and just in time because a fire ball destroyed the tree they were in.

They looked at the cause and it was ryu with flames dancing around his fingers.

Ryu: found ya.

He launched a wave of fire at them but max was ready.

He launched his arm making a black wall blocking the fire and absorbing it.

Max: Peter!! Go!!

Peter got up and ran towards the burning woods with the shadows chasing him.

Peter: you better not get burnt alive!

Ryu stopped his fire attack in order to get Peter but max stud in his way.

Ryu: you don't seem to be afraid anymore.

Max: well I found my own way to beat you.

Ryu: is that so? Well then let's see what you've got.

The fire exorcist threw a large blast of fire instead of dodging he expected his hand and black matter wrapped around his arm.

And the fire was absorbed by him and he felt his spiritual energy stock expanded.

Max looked back at ryu but he was gone.

But soon enough max felt a strike on his side and he crashed into a burning tree.

He got up and ran out of the way but he was meet with a kick but this time he blocked it by crossing his arms.

He summoned moline who fired an energy all from her mouth at ryu who jumped out way and launched a fire ball at them.

Moline wrapped her tail around max and floated up in the air and max on the tip of her tail was launched towards ryu.

He wrapped himself in spiritual energy to protect himself from ryu's fire and he charged up his arm to do a single impact.

Ryu saw him coming down and he decided to charge at him with one single jump.

The two were charging up there own single impacts and when they got on striking distance and launch there own impacts.

However ryu's single impact sent max flying to another part of the woods.

While max crashed on several trees and on the ground when he stopped tired to catch his breath but he saw a flaming meteor coming for him.

Just before ryu could reach him moline flew in and swoop him out the way of ryu's meteor crash.

Max let out a sigh of relief.

Max: thanks moline.

Moline: I had enough of seeing get thrashed around so I'm going to help.

Ryu: well two v one this is going to be interesting.

Meanwhile with Peter he was cutting down the shadow beast thanks to his clone abilitie the numbers were 4 so he was holding off well.

He sensed that Jason was around but he was having trouble pinning down his location thanks to the traces of his spiritual energy in the shadow beast.

But when he thought he pinned his location he threw his dagger at were it was and he saw a silhouette moving in the trees.

He let his clones deal with the shadow beast and he went after Jason.

When he got there he saw Jason but he was completely made of shadow.

Peter: what the hell?

It shifted and it turned into a wolf with flowing black fur.

Void let out a houl and Peter felt that someone was behind him and he turned around barely managed to block jason's bamboo sword.

But Jason swept his feet and threw him across the tree.

Peter used his daggers to stop himself and he got up and looked at Jason unsure of what's he's getting himself into.

Meanwhile seina and Cassie are still throwing punches and dodging each other's attacks.

However Cassie's tattoos started to glow every time she landed a strike on seina but when seina hits her the glow goes away.

She figured out that the more hits Cassie lands the stronger her blows get and she made sure to keep it to a minimum.

Seina of course suffered some injuries but thanks to the spirit of the tiger her body is enhanced to superhuman standards.

While cassie had some scratches but even though her body didn't have any enhancements she is still stronger than a normal human.

So overall the two are in a stalemate but they both end up in a tie because they both suffered the equally amount of wounds.

And as for Ken he got the combat advantage thanks to his ability to switching but Henry when Henry was on the brink of defeat a symbol appeared on his forehead.

Ken thought that he was about to use his ability but what happened was that Henry's sense of pain was complete nullified not just that he when he suffered damage it came back to Ken and no matter what he did all the damage he tried to do was thrown back at him.

And unfortunately for Ken he lost.

As for Sonia and Terra were both equally matched in pure strength and the girls destroyed almost half of the forest with their monstrous strength.

But Sonia got the win thanks to her ability to recover although she wasn't good at the healing part she had a good handle on it during times when she was in hiding.

Micheal and Noah was a fight with a massive disadvantage and unfortunately Micheal lost due to hypothermia he was immediately taken to the medical bay.

Now it was just Peter,max,ryu and Jason.

(Yes i got lazy I just want to end this part and get to the another part of the story)
