Samantha’s POV
“It’s okay, man!” Miggy blurted out, pulling me closer to his side with his arm draped around my shoulder. “Sam and I just had misunderstandings the other day but we’re okay now. Right, babe?”
No, he’s lying…
I didn’t know what to say. I didn’t know to react at the moment. I wanted to remove Miggy’s arm away from me because Caleb’s eyes now burning and glaring, but it might cause Miggy to think that his best friend and I had a thing.
Before I could even answer Miggy, Caleb spoke. “You two had misunderstandings?” his eyes were fixed on Miggy.
“Yeah,” Miggy chuckled. “But we just made up. Sam has forgiven me.”
No…
I wanted to tell Caleb that it’s not true. That what he saw was a mistake. I tried to tell him through my eyes but he could barely look at me.
Please… Caleb, look at me…
And then I heard him laugh.
“Is that so? That’s nice man,” Caleb rasped. “Well, I should get going then. I’ll just inform you when the exhibit will resume, Samantha…”
