‘‘It's fine, Miss Bell, if you don't want to answer my question...’’ In between sitting up and leaning on the couch, Mr. Gonzalez murmured.
‘‘No, Sir…I-I'd like to respond to that...’’ I forced a bitter smile on my face. ‘‘The fact that you've been so open about your marital life has impressed me, and I want to be fair to you, and because we're going to pretend that we're in a relationship...I want you to know the truth about me.’’ I declared, taking a deep breath. ‘‘I do have a boyfriend…’’
‘‘You… do?’’ He sat up straight and his eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at my face ‘‘Shit! How can I be so stupid!” he growled. ‘‘Miss Bell, I’m sorry...
