"Excuse me?" I shrieked, my gaze fixed on his. "I'm not going on a date with you!" I exclaimed, glaring at my boss.
“Don’t worry Miss Bell, it’s a fake date…” my boss informed me and I felt like I was splashed with cold water on the face.
Easton Gonzalez, the CEO of Gonzalez Steel Manufacturing and Industries asked his personal assistant Chloe Bell to be his fake date on their company’s Silver Anniversary to annoy and upset his ex-wife who cheated on him with his best friend. What happened to us?’’ I inquired as I lightly grazed her face with my finger.


The realization that Chloe had amnesia was like having a weight of steel placed on the inside of me. I felt like losing her forever… The idea that she couldn't remember me was extremely upsetting, frustrating, and excruciating to consider.
