‘‘I knew about it…’’ I hissed, fuming at how frustrating Felicia was. How could she act like this in front of me, to think that we’re already married, but what shocked me even more was that she didn't even consider the feelings of her best friend.

I really don't understand how she could do that.

‘‘Regarding what?’’ It appeared as though she had no intention of lowering her volume, and the fact that her voice remained elevated made me feeling uncomfortable in front of Daisy.

‘‘Regarding you going to Linden to confess about how you felt at that time...’’ I stated while heaving a sigh, and despite the fact that I had anticipated her response, which consisted of her eyes widening, and turning a deeper shade of green, her nostrils flaring, and the sound of her teeth clenching.
