TWO MONTHS LATER
“Come on, Amy, be excited…” Tom held my shoulders and gave me a shake to wake my spirits up but I felt no joy, nor any excitement.
Two months have passed since I last had a conversation with Derek in brief.
After that day, he showed up at Miller agency a week later and stayed professional and workaholic, even with small matters discussion he would always take the help of the accountant who would deliver each message of his to me.
I didn’t mind his indirect way of communication but somewhere it bothers me a lot.
Whenever he would bump into me, he would walk away as though my existence meant nothing to him at all.
It gave me a displeasing feeling but it hurts me too.
Knowing well, that I did this to myself, it hurts bad.
SIGH
“Tom, there is something I would like to discuss with you.” I finally opened up.
