Chapter 5 Unexpected situation

Alohi jumped at her own enthusiastic voice, she finally recognized the one who was playing her last night’s video on his cell phone.

“You pervert, how dare you to record my personal moments. This will ruin my reputation.”

Alohi yelled at Alpha Nathaniel, who was enjoying her panic.

“Last night you were throwing yourself on me and now I am a pervert? And this, I shoot this video so that you couldn’t go back on your words.”

He raised his one brow, challenging her to deny his statement.

“That was all alcohol talk. As you were on the receiving end last night, that’s the end of this entanglement.”

Dressed in thick grey bathrobe just like Alohi, Nathaniel pointed his long finger at her.

“Receiving end? Oh yes! I received inconvenience, your fussing about that so called ‘boyfriend’, weird stares of housekeeper and that waiter too, who delivered a pack of condoms with a flyer about safe sex.

You can’t just run away after wasting my whole night, it’s time for your promise.”

Raven was up during their tussle, she yawned and placed her head back on paws.

“Give him some money, Alohi. After all, he was a good servant.”

Alohi bit her lower lip to conceal her smile.

“What do you want?”

Suddenly, the door knocked, Alpha eyed her to hide and opened the door.

“Good morning, Alpha. I have brought breakfast for Luna.”

Energetic voice of Beta Ashwin greeted Nathaniel with his toothy smile on full display.

“Get lost!”

Nathaniel growled, compelling Ashwin to run away for his life.

“I am not anyone’s Luna, Mr.?”

“Nathaniel Michaelson.”

Alpha extended his hand for a handshake,

“You will be soon as my requirement for you is to sign a contract marriage agreement.”

This was Alohi’s turn to have a panic attack, she gulped a lump in her throat with great difficulty.

“Isn’t it too much to ask for one night’s help? I can pay you well.”

Alpha crossed his arms on his chest and cackled at her lame excuse.

“You are not going to marry your fiancé, what’s wrong in this business agreement for a few years with me? For your information, I am not a beggar.”

Alohi took a step back, her eyes popping out.

“You know all my secrets.”

She gasped for some fresh air, Raven growled in her mind,

“Cheater!”

Determined to validate her point, Alohi argued back.

“You are unreasonable, Alpha Nathaniel. Your fated mate must be some where waiting for you, why are you ignoring the benevolence of the Moon Goddess? SHE never forgives ingrates.”

Alohi gave her best shot, hoping that it will convince him.

At the mention of Moon Goddess, Alpha was all gloomy and depressed.

He sighed and sat down on the messy bed.

“I am cursed, Miss Alohi. I will never find my mate.”

Suddenly, Alohi felt a wave of sympathy washed over her. Her innocent heart softened at his misery. She had heard about evil necromancers using spells to do bad things but this was out of her mind.

“Did you try any witch to break it?”

She moved closer, her voice laced with affinity.

“I have tried every coven. My curse is unbreakable.”

Flash of sadness lingered in his crimson orbs for a while but he instantly composed himself.

“So, are you in or not?”

“Marry him, it will be easy to convince father lord.”

Raven was also compassionate towards Alpha Nathaniel.

“I would like to discuss the terms before signing it.”

Alohi smiled and sat down beside him. His demands were quite simple:

“A submissive she-wolf, who can serve the duties of both Luna and Wife.”

Alohi received a typed agreement in five minutes (she was amazed at the quick service of his Beta) and only read the part of terms and conditions.

• Party B will cater to the needs of a Luna and a Wife, no questions asked.

• Party B will be bound to Party A’s rules and regulations. No fuss over trivial matters, no expectations.

• As this will be a contract marriage, so Party B will be free to leave after five years.

• In return of this service, Party A will pay ten million dollars with a thank you note.

• Secrecy of this agreement will be exercised by both the Party A and Party B.

Alohi was quite nervous at these straight forward terms but Raven encouraged her, referring it as a good deal.

“Accept this proposal, Alohi. He is an Alpha, so naturally he will be true to his words.”

She didn’t have any problem with hiding the contract thing, precisely it will be great to avoid public lash out.

Alpha was keenly observing the changes in Alohi’s countenance, Lucas growled at him.

“Say something nice, idiot.”

As there was no cheesy line in Nathanial’s excellent mind at the moment, he blurted out,

“Other than your work hours, you will be free to do whatever you want. I am not a misogynist who will hinder your freedom.”

“Try me!”

Raven snarled at Alpha, whose feeble attempt to convince Alohi went straight to Hell.

Alohi blocked Raven, who was being over dramatic and inquired him seriously.

“I want to continue my job in Ellsworth industries. I can’t abandon my career for this contract marriage.

I will stay in contact with my friends and Pack, no order interfering my personal life will be included in my Luna’s duties.”

Nathaniel listened to her intently and found her reasons quite reasonable.

“It’s a deal!”

Alohi nodded and signed the papers with trembling hands. Then Alpha also signed it with the lightening speed.

“Your dress is in cupboard, wear it. We are leaving now.”

“Wait a second!”

Alohi stopped him.

“I have to say good bye to my family and friends. They will be worried in case of my sudden disappearance.”

“Fine. I will pick you up at 8:00 pm sharp. I think this is enough time to wind up your personal matters.”

“Bye!”

Alohi changed into her clothes and left abruptly, Alpha lips stretched in the victorious grin at this successful deal.

“Can you believe it, Alpha? This young lady is Princess Alohi Joyce, Alpha King Albert Joyce’s eldest daughter and sole heiress of the whole Kingdom.

Her love story was the top news yesterday. Why did she sign a contract marriage with you when her love life is super hit?”

That was Beta Ashwin, who was standing outside on guard.

“She was a Princess, Ashwin. But from now on, she is the Luna of the Shadow Moon Pack. Mind your language!”

Alpha Nathaniel warned him, disregarding the video that Beta Ashwin was trying to show him.
