Chapter 6 Family drama

Sun was rising in the East when Alohi reached the Castle. She was expecting that everybody would be in their rooms or in practice ground but the whole Castle was bustling with unfamiliar faces.

There were happy chatters and giggles everywhere, several omegas decorating the walls and ceilings.

“What’s the occasion?”

As there was only silence since yesterday, Alohi was shocked to see the change in premises.

“His Majesty is asking for an audience with you, Princess.”

Alohi was climbing up the stairs when a respectful servant informed her.

“I am coming.”

She dashed out towards her room and changed into descent clothes to see her father lord.

“Come my Princess, have break fast with us.”

Queen Petunia, her step sister Mona and not so loving Alvin was sitting around the dinning table.

Alvin got up and offered her the chair beside him but she ignored his fake caring gesture and dragged another seat.

Alpha King noticed her animosity but proceeded with a chuckle.

“As both of you are together now, I have decided to arrange a Wedding Ceremony tonight. Our friends are too kind to come on urgent notice but don’t worry about preparations. Ceremony will be grand and majestic.”

Alvin smiled and stretched his hand to grab Alohi’s hand.

“You are too kind, Your Majesty. We are blessed to have elders like you.”

“Liar! Cheater! Bastard!”

Raven was cursing Alvin with her short vocabulary of forbidden words.

“I noticed that you were not in your room last night, Alohi.”

Queen Petunia hid her jealousy behind the forged smile and asked politely. Disliking her step- daughter from day one, she was on the mission to marry off her daughter Mona to the most eligible bachelor Alvin Smith, Beta of the Royal Pack.

When Alpha King chose him for Alohi, she tried to retaliate against his decision but in vain. Catching her absence, Queen Petunia was hoping a lash out from Alpha King.

As expected, King Albert’s face darkened but Alvin spoke up instantly.

“Alohi was at my house. My grandma was insisting on seeing her.”

Alpha King’s rigid expressions softened after hearing Alvin’s false explanation.

“Good. You should be respectful to your in-laws.”

Seeing her failed attempt to provoke her husband, Queen Petunia glared at Alohi while her fingers were firmly clamped around the crystal glass.

“After breakfast, both of you will come to my office. I will handover the throne’s official papers to you.

In today’s Ceremony, both of you will be crowned as ‘King’ and ‘Queen’.”

Alpha King gleefully informed about her planning, Alohi abandoned her coffee mug and announced casually,

“There is no need of Ceremony and all that. I am not marrying this man-whore.”

She jerked his hand away, facing Alpha King directly.

“Come again?”

King Albert’s warning growl gave her a chance to correct her statement.

“I found my dear fiance in swinger party last night. I will not marry a person who can’t keep it in his pants.”

Alvin’s face was blanched with horror, he didn’t register that how Alohi was aware of his kink. As she mentioned about last night’s party, it meant that she saw him in person yesterday.

Alpha King observed everyone’s faces and cackled lightly.

“Alvin is a healthy man in blooming years. This kind of experiment is normal for young boys.

You are going to be the Queen of the Werewolf Kingdom, your heart should have space for a harem of young she- wolves for the King.”

Alohi was flabbergasted with her father’s comment, then her mother’s misery flashed across her mind.

Former Queen and Luna of the Royal Pack died when Alohi was just five years old. Her father maintained the façade of a caring and loving mate, admired by his subjects.

But in reality, he was poisoning his Luna with the venom of betrayal. Petunia Thompson was a daughter of a Royal advisor and Luna’s best friend at that time yet she back stabbed her.

“I have made myself clear, father lord. I am not changing my decision.”

Alohi was resolute with her statement.

“Where are your manners, my dear Alohi? Don’t you think you are overstepping your boundaries by defying direct order of His Majesty?”

That old sly fox provoked her, her concealed hatred had a sudden trace of flaming glee, which Queen Petunia hid successfully under her foxy grin.

Alohi was fed up with all the drama of her so called family. She behaved like a good girl in twenty one years of her life and now, when she was their to say a final good bye, Alohi didn’t keep her loathing in her heart.

“You have no obligation to teach me anything. True Luna is dead, you are just a replacement who don’t deserve this title.”

Alohi stated the facts bluntly, her heart aching with her mother’s helplessness. Then she directly addressed to the Alpha King.

“You must have used the exact same words to discipline my mother when you were having illicit affair with this slut.

She was too innocent for all this but not me. Don’t expect the same obedience in this matter.”
