KATRINA'S P O V
I was overcome with anxiety the moment I woke up the next morning. I immediately raced to the bathroom when I realized that there was only an hour left for me to get ready before Travis was going to pick me up so that we could go to the mall.
I only took less than fifteen minutes in showering and when I was looking for something to wear in my closet, the door suddenly flung open, revealing Tina. I didn’t pay attention on her as I slipped on some blue jeans and a white shirt after putting lotion all over my body.
‘‘Seriously, Kat? You’re going to wear that?’’ she dramatically said in a high pitch tone.
‘‘What’s wrong with my outfit?’’ I rolled my eyes at her, sitting in front of my vanity, and blow drying my hair.
‘‘You're going out on a date, and you're just going to wear a shirt and some jeans? God, Katrina...’’ I watched her though my mirror as she began rummaging around my closet and eventually found a dress in a peach colour for me to wear.
