‘‘Now I know why you don’t want to go to work anymore...’’ Cohen hissed through gritted teeth, pushing me harder against the wall, my head slammed against it, and my vision blurred. I could smell a whiff of alcohol coming from his mouth, and it made me feel a little dizzy. ‘‘Because of your rich boyfriend. Am I right, huh?’’

The image of the woman who was excitedly buying the necklace with Cohen’s money suddenly appeared in my thoughts, and it made me feel sick in my stomach which caused my hands to push him away from me. My mind was telling me not to deny his accusation about me and Travis. ‘‘I don’t think it’s any of your business…’’ I rasped, which made his rage grew more intense as he moved, and pressed his body against mine. ‘‘Let go of me!’’
