Chapter 37 DRUNK

RAPHAEL’S P O V

I was studying some documents on my laptop when I became aware of a car coming to a stop in front of the house. The crease on my forehead deepened as I contemplated the possibility that someone was driving Naya home. This idea prompted me to slam the lid of my laptop down and stand up from my seat, stumbling towards the window to determine whether my intuition was correct.

My teeth gritted when I spotted Norton in the driver’s seat, staring at the sleeping Naya next to him. I wasted no time and ran my way down the stairs and opened the door to the entrance and got out.

It was just a minute until I found myself standing next to Norton's vehicle, gasping for air, and watching him as he moved his hand to touch my wife’s face. I loudly knocked on his window with my fist, causing him to jerk his head towards me, my eyes darkened as I glared at him.
