My salary in the Villin Group was enough for Nico’s treatment, for me, and for my own expenses only. Raphael wasn’t included in it, because I was worried that my money might not be enough if I buy more for him, so I decided to make more money to help him with the house needs. Although we were a contractual couple, I think it was necessary for me to prevent him from being so poor, so I decided to look for another job opportunity.

Fortunately for me, I was accepted as a night shift cashier at a restaurant. The thought of Nathan telling me that it was best if I kept serving customers' tables. I quickly brushed the thought away, as I proceeded to open the door of the house.

It was already eleven in the evening, and I was so exhausted from working 14 hours today---8 hours in the office, and six hours in the restaurant.
