115. Konoha Crush

Suddenly, a gigantic monstrous being made of sand appears in the stadium. Gaara uses his sand to recreate Shukaku's body, but he doesn't transform into Shukaku yet. It still surprises everyone though and makes them panic.

Then, many unknown ninjas wearing black cloaks suddenly appear on the audience stage. They make some hand seals to make a sound genjutsu that puts the audience to sleep. It's a strong genjutsu that affects even the rather strong ninjas.

Of course, the really strong ninjas can recognize the genjutsu and dispel it right away. But for Zoro, the sound genjutsu only irritates him. After all, the noise is so annoying, as if he hears a broken speaker that's set at the highest volume.

Hiyori is also not affected by the genjutsu because Torao covers her ears with shadow to block the sound as soon as the enemies appear. That's why she is very confused when people suddenly faint and the enemies' sudden appearance scares her.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of them." Zoro pats Hiyori's head while smiling warmly.

Hiyori can't hear him because Torao still blocks her ears, but she understands what he wants to say. So she nods as Zoro puts her on Torao's back because the cat has transformed into his tiger-sized form.

"Torao, go to Kushina and stay with her. Protect her and Menma too, but prioritize Hiyori."

"Alright, have fun." Torao quickly goes to Kushina with Hiyori on his back.

Now Zoro can do anything he wants because he knows Torao can protect Hiyori. Kushina will also protect her. Even if Kushina is half paralyzed, she is still a high level shinobi with great power, so defending against some normal jonins won't be a problem for her and Sasuke's mom is there too.

After they leave, Zoro looks at the Shukaku's sand body replica that Gaara made. It sure looks scary and cool from up close. But he still can only feel Gaara's presence there, so Shukaku hasn't taken over the control.

While he admires the giant monster, an enemy ninja suddenly appears beside him and tries to stab him with a kunai. He doesn't even look at this ninja and grabs the ninja's wrist before the kunai hits his body.

Zoro then throws the ninja onto another enemy ninja nearby with a simple move of his hand. It doesn't even seem difficult for Zoro to throw this ninja, as if he is throwing a very light doll, not a grown up man.

But his throw is very strong because when the thrown ninja hits the other ninja, both of them are still thrown until they fall onto the arena. He takes out 2 invaders without even looking at them, shocking those who see it.

Some konoha ninjas that aren't affected by the genjutsu or have dispelled it like Kakashi, Guy, Kurenai, etc now help those who are sleeping because of the genjutsu. But it's not easy because the enemies are attacking them.

Zoro doesn't try to help them and instead is looking at where the Hokage and Kazekage are. As he thought, both sides have stepped away from each other and are ready to fight. But it seems they are still talking.

Obviously, Konoha's side wants to know what happens because the attack happens as soon as Gaara transforms into Shukaku. Furthermore, many Suna ninjas are suddenly surrounding Hokage's side, so it's clear that Suna tries to attack them.

But then, Minato is shocked when Rasa opens his Kazekage cloak and hat. Zoro is also surprised because he can see it from afar. Rasa's eyes are black and there are some cracks on his face and body.

"Edo Tensei?!" Minato obviously knows about Edo Tensei because it's a jutsu created by the 2nd Hokage and Minato has learned a lot of Konoha's hidden jutsu as the current Hokage.

When he sees Edo Tensei, Minato understands that Rasa has died. But he also knows that not everyone knows about Edo Tensei, especially those outside of Konoha because even many high-ranking ninjas from Konoha don't know about it.

So Minato knows that the user of this Edo Tense must be someone from Konoha who has learned many secrets too. But he doesn't know who because it can either be a traitor that is still active inside the village or someone who has left.

Either way, he knows that this person is controlling Suna shinobi although he doesn't know if they realize it or not. Though he still can't think of a suspect. But he doesn't need to wait long to get the answer because he hears Tsunade shout out the culprit's name.

"OROCHIMARU!"

Minato and the men around him turn around to look at Tsunade. Then they see someone standing behind the 3rd Hokage who comes to watch the final. This person holds a kunai on the 3rd Hokage's neck, so no one dares to get closer.

"I see, Orochimaru. Then he must be the one who uses this jutsu." Minato knows that the only one here who can do this is Orochimaru.

"Stay at your place, Tsunade! Even if Sarutobi-sensei can get away from me with some effort, do you think the villagers can do it too?" Orochimaru smiles sinisterly before some very loud sounds come from afar.

Everyone looks out of the stadium and sees some giant snakes breaking through the village wall. In Zoro's memory, there should only be 3 giant snakes, but now there are 12 of them that come from 4 sides of the village.

"They use more snakes now?" Zoro quickly assumes that it's because Konoha's current power is higher than in the story, so 3 snakes won't be enough.

Orochimaru is using the whole village as his hostage, making Tsunade and even the 3rd Hokage unable to do anything. He forces the 3rd Hokage to follow him onto the roof to fight just like in the original story.

Zoro is actually quite curious now. He wonders why Orochimaru still targets the 3rd Hokage, not the 4th Hokage. He doesn't really remember Orochimaru's reason for attacking Konoha at this time, so now he thinks that it's because Orochimaru wants to kill Hiruzen, maybe for revenge.

Anyway, just like in the original story, Orochimaru's subordinates, the Sound Four creates a box barrier that isolates the roof where they'll fight. No one can stop them, even Minato because the whole village is being held hostage.

Besides, he needs to handle Edo Tensei Rasa and also the 1 Tail that can decimate this whole village because right at that time, Gaara uses a jutsu to make himself fall asleep, making Shukaku take over the control of his body.

"HAHAHAHA! I'M FINALLY OUT AFTER ALL THIS TIME." Shukaku's voice can be heard from all over the village, scaring everyone who hears it.

Minato quickly judges that Shukaku is the biggest danger now instead of Rasa. "Fugaku, I'll leave for a while."

"Quick! I don't think I can hold him for too long." Fugaku understands what Minato wants to do and immediately gets ready to fight Rasa.

Minato suddenly disappears from his spot and appears right beside Naruto who is still in the arena, facing the giant monster.

"Naruto, go find Jiraiya-sensei. I'll send this beast out of the village and I need Jiraiya-sensei to keep him out of the village. Take him to me so I can send him to the beast. Do it quickly because it might return just in a few minutes." Minato gives an order to Naruto while throwing a marked kunai at Shukaku.

Then he teleports to his kunai that has stabbed Shukaku's stomach. Without waiting for anything, Minato teleports Shukaku far away from the village. Naruto knows the situation is dire, so he quickly goes to find Jiraiya.

He meets his friends on his way out of the stadium, so he asks for their help to find Jiraiya. They ask him what happens and he just says they are under attack, but he can't explain more because he also still doesn't fully know what happens.

"Anyway, help me find the Pervy Sage. Tell him to find my dad here quickly. But be careful because the enemies are everywhere."

"Naruto, do you see my mom?" Sasuke is worried about his mom. He might be an irritating kid sometimes, but he loves his family.

"I saw her with my mom and Grandma Tsunade. She should be fine. Kakashi-sensei is also in the audience stage."

"Alright. Then let's move separately." Sasuke nods.

"Try to not engage in battles and focus on doing Master Hokage's mission." Shikamaru tells everyone to avoid fighting because it will slow them down a lot.

They nod before dispersing to find Jiraiya even though they don't know why Minato needs him. But this is not the time to question everything because their village is under attack. So they move quickly before everything gets worse.

But when they have just left the stadium, everyone hears a wheezing sound from the sky. They look at the source of the sound and see a massive greenish energy blade flying in the air towards a group of giant snakes.

Then, under everyone's astonished eyes, the massive greenish energy blade cuts all 4 giant snakes in the group, separating their heads from their bodies. Everything turns silent in the village because everyone is too shocked to see just 1 attack kills 4 giant snakes at once.
