NIGHT DANCE SHOW DOWN
Penguin City Street - Alice's House - Night
"So who's the lucky date?" Alice asked as she combed and styled Ruby's hair. Ruby sat on a chair facing a mirror while Alice stood at her back making her up for the big event. Ruby stared at Alice through the mirror and smiled. She didn't reply Alice.
Alice grabbed a box of jewelries and carefully selected some earings and necklaces. She searched through the box for the second piece of a particular earing but was frustrated when she didn't see it.
"Y'know your mother....my sister bought me a necklace and an earing while I was young just like you. She bought them for me in preparations for my first Penguin Night Dance" Alice turned on a small electric fan and positioned it on the table to avoid the wearing off of Ruby's make up
"She was actually nicer during her younger days..." Ruby replied with a cold stare on her face.
"The earrings....had a red gemstone on them. Have you perhaps searched my jewelries or worn them behind me?....I couldn't find the other pair" Alice asked politely and showed Ruby the one with her.
Almost immediately, flashed back to the day she fought Kong and his buster armor. It was the earing she was wearing on that day, she took it from Alice's jewelry box without asking for permission which was obviously wrong. She couldn't find the other piece when she got back that day.
"Uhhhm...no I never wore those" Ruby replied.
"Okay.... I guess we have to wear something else then" Alice said and brought out a special box from a small compartment in her shelf.
"She's definitely lying" Alice whispered to herself
She opened it revealing a shiny pair of Ruby Stone Earrings. The pair was obviously her most priced possession. The earrings glittered beneath the room light and shined in all their glory
"Let's use this" Alice said as she plugged the earrings to Ruby's ears.
"Wow 😳" Ruby muttered.
"You like them?" Alice asked.
"Yeah 😂 they're cool" Ruby replied.
There was huge silence for sometime before Ruby spoke up.
"I hope your dream about having your own restaurant is still intact?" Ruby asked in curiousity.
"I forgot about that a long time ago.....your guitar dreams still intact?" Alice replied and adjusted Ruby's dress by the collar
"I haven't forgotten Alice.....I feel like our wishes will come true soon....it's all a matter of time" Ruby replied
"Your mom..." Alice was about to finish her statement when she was interrupted by Alice half way.
"Can we talk less about mom and more about getting to the dance floor" Ruby said as she stood up and grabbed her bag. She was already at the entrance of the room when she turned around.
"Griffon" Ruby said.
"What?" Alice asked in confusion.
"His name is Griffon" Ruby replied.
"Ohhhh....when you get to that dance floor....say hi to big Griffon for me and tell him that if anything happens to you .....I'll kill him" Alice replied.
Ruby ran over to Alice and hugged her passionately.
"I'll make sure to tell him"

Penguin City - POLICE HQ - NIGHT
James sat on his swivel chair facing his computer screen. He scrolled down a list of names and pictures of unknown people till he reached one particular one.
Name: ELLE RUBY
Age: 16
Passport Photograph...
James grabbed a box behind him,opened it and brought out it's content. It was Ruby's missing earing.
"You can run....but you cannot hide" James muttered

Penguin City Hall - Night.
Ruby entered the city hall and the whole place looked mesmerizing, lot's of people with nice looks and classy outfits were present at all nooks and crannies. They were all from Book Worm's high school. A big bright ball of light that resembled something from a fairy tale world was placed at the center of the very tall ceiling. To the right, a familiar boy was seen playing the grand piano. It was Griffon, he had pretty skilled fingers and played the strings like a grandmaster.
Ruby walked over to the grand piano in style.
"Hey ☺️" Ruby called out to Griffon.
Griffon looked up and saw Ruby. He smiled and blushed in admiration, she was quite pretty in her black gown and ruby earrings. Griffon stood up in awe 😳.
"Hey 😳" Griffon replied
Griffon grabbed her hands in admiration.
"You're pretty....and your hair grew longer" Griffon said
"Ohhh..... it's all thanks to my mom....she styled my hair before coming" Ruby replied blushing.
"Could she be a superhuman?😳" Griffon asked himself.
"I never knew you played the grand piano" Ruby stated.
Griffon motioned Ruby to sit on the piano's seats while he stood. He placed her hands on the keys.
"It's okay....I play too" Ruby said and started to play her favourite intro song "Diamonds Nd Rubies" from the movie "NecroMan". Turned out the movie was trending so people quickly recognized the tone and it was all a matter of time before people surrounded her
"Woah 😳.....she plays better than me" Griffon muttered.
She played with heart and soul till the very last note and people applauded.
"Wow...you play like a pro" Griffon commented.
"I actually play the guitar a lot better" Ruby said in a pretty smile.
"You're talented....I could barely manage playing the piano without mistakes" Griffon replied.
They stared into each other's eyes as the atmosphere changed and a solemn jazz music was played by the DJ.
"You ready to get to the dance floor?" Ruby asked.
"You bet I am" Griffon replied as they both walked down the dance floor.
Outside The City Hall
A black van pulled up at the entrance of the hall and a group of people in black hoodie alighted from the vehicle. They were all wearing mysterious black dragon head masks and they each carried a special type of futuristic rifle with glowing barrels. Their leader who was wearing a white mask spoke with cruelty and menace in his voice.
"Spare no one"
