He had returned from the material world to the Dark Matter World, which wasn't difficult for him. Locate a super-giant spectre from the material world, one of those tens of meters in height and volume, tear open its body to enter, then open the Tunnel of Light, heading "downward" without any stops in between—down, down, until he eventually fell from the giant spiral funnel into New York City in the Dark Matter World.
