"Hahaha!!!" After listening to Sun Jack's words, it-z burst into laughter, almost gasping for air from the intensity of his amusement.
"Sun Jack, oh, Sun Jack, you really know how to boast."
He disregarded the blade on his neck and stood up defiantly, looking provocatively at Sun Jack, "I'm telling you, talk is cheap, victory comes only through the sheer force of absolute power."
As he casually gestured with his hand, more and more spacecraft carriers began to gather around the EASA station, with their numbers showing no signs of stopping but instead increasing further.
It seemed like reinforcements had arrived, as the entire sky was almost covered by combat units, with no end in sight.
In order to let Sun Jack comprehend his strength, the walls around them rose, giving him a clear view.
"See that? This is but a day's output for the FFP Corporation, we can produce even more at any time. Do you really think you can contend with FFP? Stop dreaming. In the face of absolute power, whatever you do is utterly futile."
He moved towards Sun Jack, the blade still pressed against him, and tapped Sun Jack's face before revealing a hint of a smile. "The reason you've managed to survive for so long was simply because you weren't our target in the first place. Now that Detroit is gone, you're next on the list."
However, confronted with such a threat, Sun Jack gradually increased the force in his hand, the blade sizzling against the skin of his adversary.
"Really? I don't believe it. I have to try. Of course, I understand the might of capital, but that doesn't mean there are no weaknesses before this great power."
Perhaps due to the pain shutdown, it-z appeared to feel nothing.
"Stop bluffing. In the face of the world's capital, not to mention you, even I am worthless. What good does it do to kill me? Do you think there are no contingencies for my death? No replacements lined up?"
"Is that so? But I already said, my visit this time isn't to kill you. It's to make your life a living hell."
Sun Jack lowered the blade in his hand and then touched the neural port behind his neck, subsequently activating Mimetic Camouflage and quickly leaving the room.
"Tsk, scare me? Do you think I'm easily frightened? There's nothing I haven't seen. You think a few words will intimidate me? Dream on, Sun Jack." He settled back into the sofa, ordering the combat units on the carrier to hunt down Sun Jack.
After checking the entire spacecraft carrier inside and out and finding no anomalies, he lost interest in whatever Sun Jack was up to.
He then ordered all combat units to increase their attack intensity, aiming to swiftly reclaim EASA and stabilize the situation completely.
As time passed, with each clone of Sun Jack being dragged out lifeless, it-z knew the battle had been decided. Sun Jack was utterly powerless to change it now.
Looking through the window at the endless mechanized force, it-z confidently lifted a glass of champagne to his lips.
No matter what Sun Jack tried, it was impossible to withstand such overwhelming might. This fellow was out of moves except for duping him once.
"If I can handle Sun Jack, then maybe I can ascend to the core level, right? Which faction should I join?" it-z had already started planning for his future.
Just then, he suddenly heard footsteps behind him. Turning around, he was shocked to see a completely naked it-z standing there.
Before he could comprehend what was happening, he saw the other man clap in the air, and the next second, the left wall turned into Liquid Metal, enveloping his entire body.
"Impossible! This equipment should've been DNA-locked to me!" it-z didn't have time to think about it as, under his control, various drones rushed in to protect him.
However, this was just the beginning. As they struggled in a deadlock, another it-z burst in, immediately accessing the internal network. "Seal the exits! Imposters!"
Watching all this unfold, it-z finally understood what Sun Jack meant.
"Damn bastard! Creating clones of me!"
Although he didn't know how Sun Jack managed it, it was clear his consciousness and memories had been cloned.
Furious and trembling, he didn't immediately go after Sun Jack but hurried to transfer his assets.
What he knew, his clone would also know, and protecting his money and resources was paramount.
These were things he couldn't allow his clones to share!
Unfortunately for him, the clones shared the same thought.
When some it-zs realized they were clones, their first impulse was to kill the it-z original. By eliminating him, they could become the original.
Although Sun Jack didn't know how to kill it-z in the company, his clones did.
Soon, as more clones of it-z appeared, the situation spiraled out of control.
Some it-Zs started using the FFP combat units to eliminate rivals for themselves.
Meanwhile, Sun Jack, hidden deep within EASA, silently observed the chaos in the sky through various drone cameras.
Watching the previously orderly combat units begin to attack each other, witnessing the pandemonium outside,
"Don't stop, keep cloning!" Sun Jack turned to Xiao Ting beside the production line and instructed.
The production line didn't stop; clone after clone of it-z was produced and quickly dispatched.
Each it-z had its own agenda, each fighting for themselves. They even withdrew all units engaged with Sun Jack's forces, and the battle near the launch wells unexpectedly ground to a halt.
"This is your solution?" Tapai spoke from the side.
"Yes, this is my method," Sun Jack said, lighting a cigarette and looking up at the increasingly chaotic spacecraft carriers.
"From the beginning of the fight against FFP, I've been considering what Lan Meng's weakness is. The weakness of capital is greed. Killing Lan Meng doesn't break the game, but if you clone a few more of the same entity, that's when the drama unfolds."
"For capitalists like him, death isn't the worst thing. For them, the direst fear is sharing their resources and wealth for nothing, more tormenting than death, even if the one sharing is themselves."
At that moment, a nuclear bomb exploded in the sky, the spacecraft carrier where it-z resided blew into a vast fireball.
With the Gravity System failing, the massive military fortress tilted and started falling toward the ground.
