Watching the series of explosions in the sky, Sun Jack knew his goal had been achieved, it-z was practically busting its own dog head, completely unable to pay any attention to him.
"Why would you, who are about to enter space, insist on bringing along this short dwarf melon and the cloning production line?" Tapai suddenly had an epiphany.
"Yeah, killing Lan Meng might just lead FFP to push up another Lan Meng. It would be better to use this method."
"Capital is greedy, and so are capitalists. If that FFP had a thousand bosses, I believe such a large capital group would definitely be in chaos internally."
"It's just that I didn't expect to apply this method not on Lan Meng first, but to try it out on this guy. However, it seems to be working quite well," Sun Jack said, looking at the sky full of explosions.
"Awesome, awesome. I thought the way you made it-z suffer was to force this guy to send harassment messages to Lan Meng, annoying Lan Meng to the point of firing him, kicking him out of FFP."
Sun Jack looked down on this guy, "At this point, can't you be a bit more serious?"
"Then why do you have to go yourself?" Tapai asked again.
"Because I have an idea. What if I am the real Lan Meng?" Sun Jack lit a cigarette and took a drag, waiting for the right moment to arise outside.
"Do you really believe that? Before, it was just a speculation."
"Yeah, I think this speculation is quite reasonable," Sun Jack nodded repeatedly, "What if I really am Lan Meng?"
"What if you're not?"
Sun Jack gave him a glance. "Not? Who told you it's not? As long as we get up there, if I feel I am Lan Meng, then I am Lan Meng."
"Damn, you want to steal the nest eh?"
"It's never a bad idea to have multiple backup plans, right? Almost ready, AA. Get all the space units ready, check everything again. We're going up!"
"Understood! Boss, leave it to us!" The AAs clad in mechanical exoskeletons entered the spacecraft, beginning various adjustments to ensure there would be no mistakes.
The fully armed Sun Jack clones and other combat units also entered the spacecraft, preparing to head for space.
And with this, the spacecraft launch faced no more obstructions.
Soon the battlefield outside intensified, and at that moment, two nuclear bombs were fired from the elevator shaft, exploding in the air, clearing a path.
While everyone else had yet to react, all 14 space units within EASA ascended, piercing through the clouds.
Those it-z were completely caught up in internal strife. Even if someone noticed and wanted to stop them, they would be held back by other clones, unable to prevent the launch.
With tremors, Sun Jack watched as the scenery outside the window rose higher and higher, and as he broke through the cloud layer, the blinding sunlight made him squint his eyes.
Looking at the Sun in the sky, Sun Jack took a long breath, feeling relieved that, regardless, he had finally ascended.
He quickly reviewed the readiness of the other space units and realized there were initially 2360 people left, having lost a fair number to the scuffle with it-z.
"Hopefully, this number of people is enough to deal with the security around Lan Meng," said Tapai.
"There's no other way then; we'll have to adapt as things come," Sun Jack had just finished speaking when a long, mechanical unit flew past the window—his Sky Extreme Weapon.
As he spoke, Sun Jack reopened the network in an attempt to reestablish contact with Himalayas, whose fate was still unknown. However, he received no response, which significantly increased his sense of unease.
Since there were traps on their side, he estimated that Rome would be in a similar situation. Now that there was an internal struggle within IT-Z, he hoped it could alleviate the situation there.
But what he couldn't determine now was the true state of affairs there. Were the others on Himalayas still all right?
Tied to his seat, Sun Jack watched the numbers on the map coordinates change relentlessly, a look of unwavering determination in his eyes.
"Tapai! Get in touch with Overlapping AI and the rest. Tell them not to expect to just sit back and watch from behind. When the time comes, I'll draw the net, and they must give it their all online!"
"Okay." Tapai quickly scrolled through the data on her screen.
As the spacecraft pierced through the clouds, Sun Jack once more saw the ground from the sky. Only this time, he had a deeper understanding of what was there.
"Boss! The garbage layer is almost upon us! Get ready."
As altitude increased, so too did the pressure on Sun Jack's body, but after DNA enhancement,
The 8-9g of pressure was nothing to the current him; he didn't need to hide in the planted gel like before.
Soon, through the glass, Sun Jack used his telescope-like vision to see the litter floating in the sky.
The instant the spacecraft entered it, a semi-transparent magnetic field energy shield instantly rose over the streamlined spacecraft.
The semi-transparent energy shield around the spacecraft acted like a solid barrier, deflecting the incoming space debris; even though the larger pieces caused energy fluctuations that shook the spacecraft, no substantial damage was done.
Watching as any space debris that approached within the radius of the spacecraft was quickly pushed away, Sun Jack finally understood how they had traversed the layer of space garbage outside.
Under his control, the space-based weapons also swiftly moved in closer, using the spacecraft's energy shield to avoid damage from the space debris.
"Everyone, get ready, all hands prepare—we're facing Lan Meng, the Boss of FFP, the biggest capitalist on Earth!" Sun Jack encouraged the others through the network.
"We only have one chance, take out Lan Meng! No more running around like chased animals. Finally, we can start fighting back!"
However, just as Sun Jack uttered these words, the spacecraft's dashboard flickered, and alarms sounded continuously inside.
"Something's not right, mere space debris can't cause this kind of change!"
"AA! What's happening?" Sun Jack quickly asked.
"Boss! A spacecraft at the front has exploded! We are under attack! Don't worry, I'll handle this!"
As AA swiftly switched the feed from the external camera, Sun Jack saw red meteorites deflected by various space debris flying toward them—their sky was now raining fiery meteorites!
When Sun Jack realized that these meteorites were not randomly distributed but followed some complex formation and rhythm, he immediately understood this was not mere debris; this was Lan Meng's attack!
Giant meteorites with a radius of several kilometers, like red-hot Suns, plummeted down, and under the force of gravity, the ordinary moon rocks in outer space became an extremely lethal weapon against the spacecraft!
