"Ladies and gentlemen!" San Jiao interrupted the mutual animosity, "Can we afford to quarrel at a time like this? I don't believe now is the moment to discuss social systems."
Sun Jack, upon hearing these words, stopped arguing and directed his attention towards Third Class. "You're right, now is indeed not the time for bickering, so could you tell us, what exactly is the situation with Third Class now?"
"You claim to be humanity's last line of defense, asking us to trust you unconditionally, to have our troops cooperate with you in commanding and besieging the Poet."
"But what about the results? I don't know whether the Poet has been hurt, but all I see is that the death of millions of my people hasn't brought the slightest improvement to the situation."
At this point, Sun Jack thought of those who died on the front lines and his tone suddenly grew more intense, his fists clenched tightly.
"Millions of people! Do you realize these are not just numbers, but living, breathing humans? They have emotions, they have friends and family!"
"They died outside under my command! I need an explanation now!"
At this critical juncture for humanity's survival, he didn't think Third Class was slacking off, but with millions dead without a clear reason, he now needed an explanation, as well as to provide one for those who had passed away.
San Jiao's tone remained calm. "There's nothing to explain. Don't you know they died fighting against Omega? Don't you realize that if Omega wins, we're all doomed?"
Hearing this, Sun Jack quickly stepped forward and continued, "I don't want to hear your meaningless platitudes! Show me all your battle reports, all your strategic plans so far; only then can I judge whether their sacrifice was worth it or not."
"With the situation as it is, Third Class cannot continue to act like they are the only saviors. How to fight the Poet, what method to use -- it's not for Third Class to decide alone. We need the right to be informed!"
"This is impossible." Faced with Sun Jack's demands, San Jiao firmly refused.
"Impossible?" Sun Jack frowned upon hearing this. "If we don't even have the basic right to information, then I'm sorry, but my people may not assist you in the future."
Hearing Sun Jack say this, the spokespeople of Tapai and DF23, who were once fierce adversaries, looked at each other and then spoke in unison with tacit agreement, "We feel the same way, especially since the situation hasn't improved much according to your plan."
Confronted with pressing inquiries from three sides, San Jiao sounded a bit irritated. "Do you really think now is the time for this kind of talk? Do you truly believe it's time for infighting, faced with the existential threat to humanity?"
"We're not talking about infighting; we're asking for the bare minimum of the right to be informed! If Third Class had been winning, pushing back the Poet, I wouldn't say a word, but unfortunately, we're not satisfied with the current results."
"I've said it before, although the net has now been completely shut down, if you were all to know Third Class's entire plan, then Omega would be prepared too. It's very likely that this could lead our whole species into annihilation."
"As fellow humans, you can trust us unconditionally. After all, our mission is to counter Omega."
"But I see no hope of victory in you! I don't even know what the chances of success for your so-called plans are!" Sun Jack argued adamantly.
"Even worse." The spokesperson for DF23, who had just been arguing with Sun Jack, chimed in, "Omega, in collaboration with the Clone's propaganda assault, has made the situation in all other cities far more dire. What's more, with no network, our technology has regressed centuries!"
"And now, with AI out of control and engaging in an information war, we face setbacks at every turn."
After the spokesperson for Tapai finished speaking, Sun Jack immediately interjected, "You said the DNA enhancement technology was for fighting Omega, but I don't see how this technology can have any impact in the short term. If you want to unite everyone against Omega but don't want to share all of Third Class's plans and situational reports with us, then please, show us your sincerity!"
Hearing Sun Jack's words, the others looked at each other, seeming to tacitly agree with what was said, and fell silent, watching for what would happen next.
"What kind of sincerity would you like?" San Jiao asked.
"Open source all of Third Class's flesh technology to us!" Sun Jack stated his real purpose for the meeting.
Regardless of what technology Three Quarters holds, or how they plan to fight the Poet, open sourcing the technology would fill the power vacuum caused by the network outage.
Although Third Class was indeed on their side, under these circumstances, he had to take his fate wholly into his own hands.
Sun Jack seemed to anticipate what the other party wanted to argue, and he immediately said, "Don't give me that old excuse about Omega copying technology! If they aren't copying, can they not defeat us now? If you don't share technology now, if you don't use everything at your disposal to boost the strength of all humanity, we are truly doomed!"
However, this time the other side didn't immediately retort. After some thought, suddenly he raised his hand lightly, and as a crackling of malfunctioning noises rose rapidly, the representatives of Tapai and DF23 disappeared on the spot.
Seeing this, Sun Jack's brow furrowed. "What's this? Looking to divide your enemies and then pick them off one by one?"
San Jiao shook his head, "No, they have others to meet with them. You said you wanted to improve your strength, right? We can help with that."
"But full disclosure of all genetic technology is absolutely out of the question. You're right, the more powerful your forces, the more they can help the current situation; however, we can offer other forms of assistance."
"So, we can provide tailored technological support for you."
"What?" Sun Jack was just about to say something when he suddenly felt a gust of wind in front of him.
As he swiftly pulled off the external system on his face, he saw a Hover Car appearing amid the acid rain.
The San Jiao, who should have been on the network, stood on it, speaking to him: "Come on board. We'll take you to headquarters and explain how we can enhance your strength."
"Going separately? If they detain you, then your threats to use the Utopia Federation as cannon fodder will become troublesome," Tapai hastily warned.
"Don't worry, Third Class isn't that petty. Besides, there are plenty of Sun Jacks; my life won't be a threat to anyone. I want to see just what they are planning this time."
With these words, jets from the propulsion system firing, Sun Jack flew rapidly towards the hovering Hover Car in the sky.
