MWAJUMA ESTATE

The drive to the estate was therapeutic. The green made everything better. It was situated at the outskirts of the city, not far, but far enough from the city buildings and rush. Upon entering the gates, I say hi to Babu, one of the guards that I recognized; the other three were new faces.

The compound was like I remembered it, nothing much had changed since I was here. Rahim was already on the grounds, I recognized his car, as I park among the array of vehicles on the lot. How many people were here? Is Matt having a pity party for me?

I take a moment in the car for myself before I face the hyenas in the house. Calming myself, the last time I was here was a different scenario full of drama and chaos. I had vowed never to return but here I am going to face the same damn people.
