Arriving at the field, I headed to a high-level area within the hunting ground, more secluded to avoid Players' attention. Most players were in this area, and their fighting styles also began to vary; their diverse weapons sometimes gleamed with lights or had different movements, indicating abilities. I also noticed a few players, albeit fewer, with what seemed like a skeleton or some type of animal, indicating their role as summoners.
The entire field was composed of small bushes and low grass with a burnt red color, and the ground also had a similar tone, as if recently scorched.
"Summon: Aqua, Ron."
Soon, two circles appeared; a small blue one near my head in the shape of a water drop with a shrimp symbol, and another light white and burgundy one that seemed dangerous with a smiling cat in the middle. From there, my summons came, and I decided to try using the Trainee skill on Ron first.
As I walked forward, I encountered the enemy, two of them with brownish-red skin, one normal and one elite.
"Ron, spread the mist and the poison."
Ron meowed three times, and with each meow, events unfolded. In the first, a mist began to form and spread; in the second, burgundy tones began to mix, and in the third, the mist started to disseminate throughout the field and spread to them. Despite limitations on the affected area, it already had a high range without using much of Ron's mana.
"Aqua, hit them with small water thorns from afar; Ron, you take the normal one on the right, and I'll take the elite one on the left."
And so, we moved Aqua through the air, hidden in the mist. He had a slight ability to manipulate it due to its water elements. He launched water thorns that hit both, causing damage and distracting them.
Ron had already dissipated his body into the mist and appeared behind one of them with sharp, venomous claws, piercing and hitting him in the middle of his neck, making him scream in pain and irritation.
And I moved my body, taking advantage of my high agility and using my sword, infused with mana and empowered by Aqua, surrounded by the water element.
"Impact."
I said, and with the sword pointed forward, my agility increased even more while the power concentrated at the tip of the sword. At the same time, I directed my mana and water energy to the sword's tip.
And I hit the other Mustang directly, throwing him against the wall with force and causing high damage.
It didn't take long, but we managed to eliminate them, and I had to help Ron a little, although he wasn't easily hit, and Aqua was assisting him.
"The high Status bonus is certainly OP... the same goes for Ron's vision impairment with the mist and Aqua's constant attacks... furthermore, despite being more dispersed, the poisons started to increase concentration on the enemies, causing greater damage and Status effects... in a battle of attrition, this will certainly be a strong bonus."
I touched Ron's ears, who had already curled around my neck, and spoke softly.
"Shall we go to level 10?"
Meow~
He meowed affectionately, and I touched Aqua's head, and we continued forward, returning to the hunt.
