"Well... it indeed matches the description of my race, and it seems to be durable, plus its rare quality is very good."
After seeing everything and feeling satisfied, I decided to check my Status since it had been a while since I last looked, and I needed to allocate points.

After checking the changes, I was preparing to move, but first, I decided to summon my familiars.
"Summon: Ron, Aqua."
With their usual summoning magic circles, they appeared and paused for a moment, looking at me with curiosity and surprise. Of course, they sensed the change due to our soul connection, but they hadn’t seen the concrete physical change. Ron, especially, seemed to be comparing my tail to his.
I played with both of them for a while using my tail for amusement and at the same time looked around the house. The house wasn’t very large, with a small kitchen and living room with a few empty bookshelves on the first floor. On the second floor, there were two normal bedrooms with beds and wardrobes—one left empty as it wouldn’t be used and the other I kept for myself. I knew this house was mine from another notification I had received.
[You have received a house for being a new member of the race, in the Anturian dimension in the city of Riften.]
"Um... it’s a curious feeling to have a house here... maybe it will become another home... who knows, I might play with my familiars and bring a future boyfriend or friends here in the future."
While thinking about possibilities and looking in the kitchen that didn’t have any specific food, I heard a knock on the door and opened it. Outside, a member of the race wearing armor was there. When he looked at me, he seemed shocked by my appearance. What I didn’t know was that it wasn’t just my appearance; he could see the small rune on my forehead, something rarely seen actively by other members of the race, and it reminded him of a great member of the race from the past.
"Um, sir?"
"Ah."
"Excuse me, are you the new member of our race?"
"Yes."
I saw that he was a bit embarrassed by the previous situation but didn’t comment on it.
"Well, I am Henry, one of the guards of our city, and I will accompany you through the city and give you some information before taking you to the Great Elder of the race."
"By the way, what is your name?"
"Ah, I’m Alex."
He smiled gently and said,
"Well, Alex, let's go."
I also received a mission.
------------------------------------
Mission: Tour the city.
Objective: Get to know more about your new city and living place, Riften.
Reward: Conversation with the Great Elder.
Description: Get to know your new home and have fun.
------------------------------------
"Okay."
With Ron on my shoulder and Aqua in a small pocket he seemed to find on my clothes, we went out to explore the city.
The city is really beautiful, with magical light posts made of crystals, protective golems in specific points, a ground made of some kind of bluish and golden stone, with beautiful plants and small animals on the streets, with a physical structure that reminded me of Florence mixed with modern aspects. Sculptures of different forms also decorated the place, and the sky was particularly beautiful. With a golden barrier above, you could see beyond it what seemed like a sun and smaller stars coexisting together. At the same time, sometimes beings seemed to appear, and the image of galaxies and Milky Ways could be seen—it was a very beautiful sight that could be seen up close.
I was fascinated by the city and the view.
Henry spoke,
"Fascinating, right?"
"Our race emerged in this dimension millennia ago, created by the Universe itself and the world as a natural being and product between the universe’s professions and the dimension."
"The dimension itself is an isolated place that allows transporting, moving, and even viewing other dimensions more easily. Also, because of this, it is protected from other beings entering without our race’s magic or unless they are special creatures."
.
"The city is also very beautiful and quite lively."
"Well, that’s because our race members brought various plants and small life forms while using our magic talent to improve even that 'Sun,' which was the product of an ancient member of our race using their spatial magic knowledge to allow life to spread more easily."
"We also plant all kinds of foods and cultivate some animals to serve as a food source. We are not many compared to other races, especially humans, but we have eternity in terms of age to study and improve. Also, we don’t get involved in many conflicts. Of course, we are strong, so you don’t need to fear enemies. Even though one of our race’s nicknames is the race of Sages, besides all kinds of legends, we are also feared with the nickname, and even though we have nothing compared to this group of 'Asuras,' after all, mediators and neutrals must be strong not to be conquered."
He spoke proudly while touching the muscular chest I hadn’t noticed until now.
.
We continued walking towards the central square, and I noticed different sculptures and clothing among the race members. I asked him, also curious about the times I saw small squirrels, birds, rabbits, and others transforming into members of the race—it was a peculiar sight.
"Oh, that is normal. As we travel to so many dimensions and even in the 'main world,' and because of our longevity, many live for a while in different places disguised or just living and end up bringing knowledge to store in the city. Also, different cultures end up being inserted in one way or another. Our race also has a great taste for arts, sculpture, painting, dancing, singing, and all kinds of things."
"Um, it is quite peculiar."
