Regina composed herself and began to button her shirt up again from the top, taking a second to pull the shirt back and look at the bruises one last time, she could deal with that tomorrow. Snow knocked on the bathroom door before she slowly pushed it open. "Regina?" She asked. Snow knew Regina had been in there a little while and wanted to just make sure everything was alright. Regina had barely gathered her thoughts, her mind still a little woozy from the visions when she heard a loud knock on the door, her eyes went wide and she to took a second to realise that her shirt was still tucked into her trousers. She quickly pulled it around herself normally and let it rest how it should, though she wasn't sure if she was quick enough to hide the bruises from Snow."Snow! I was just getting some...air." she realised how ridiculous she sounded but she panicked and didn't think of what she was saying until it was too late. "Do you need something?" She asked and cleared her throat, trying to ignore the sharp pain in her side every time she inhaled.
Snow stood in the doorway but looked a little amused hearing what she said. "You're getting some...air? In the bathroom?" She asked her before shaking her head. "I was just wanting to see if you were alright." She said but had seen how panicked she had seemed as she walked in. "You are hurt. Aren't you? You've been holding your ribs and now you seem panicked." She said softly. Regina bared her teeth a little about to snap at her for suggesting such a thing, but quickly dropped it in defeat. She pressed her lips together and nodded. "It's not much, but it's a pain in the ass." She mumbled unhappily. She waited until the door was finally closed behind her, using every last cell in her body to not completely break down in front of Snow. She moved the side of her shirt towards her back and up a little, revealing her bruised side to Snow White, looking down at the floor in silence, ashamed to admit that she was in pain. Snow was a little surprised that the mayor hadn't snapped at her, she walked over with a small nod, her eyes widening when she saw the bruise. "What happened?" She asked before shaking her head. "Never mind I know we don't have our memories." She said. "Are you not able to heal yourself?" Snow asked softly with a little concern. Regina shrugged a little answering her questions if she was alright. "I'm not sure." She said. "I think there was some kind of battle with a person?" She said not being able to look at Snow yet, afraid she might pity her.
"I had a flashback, but it wasn't the clearest."edge looked down at her hand upon hearing Snow mention her magic. "No, apparently it doesn't want to cooperate with me tonight." She cleared her throat and dropped her shirt once again, fixing her hair and posture. "it's nothing I can't deal with." She said brushing off the possibility that people actually cared about her, she didn't deserve it. Snow nodded some "Henry did mention that with his memories he felt like we were fighting against something." She said but nodded hearing about her magic and have a reassuring smile. "Maybe once you get some sleep it'll be better. Who knows the last time we all actually slept." She suggested. "It could just be from being tired and the confusion of losing our memories." She said. Regina frowned but nodded. "Perhaps we were all there together?" She said and pressed a hand to her side softly, she let out a small groan of pain and closed her eyes holding back a wince.
Snow gave a smile and nodded. "We could have been." She agreed. Sleep would definitely help Regina right now, anything to take her mind off of everything and get her magic back to where it's supposed to be. "Could...could you not tell Henry or Emma about this please?" She asked her softly, she didn't want to worry them even more. She hasn't even wanted to bother snow with this. As Snow heard Regina ask her not to tell Emma or Henry she nodded. "I won't tell anyone." She promised. She could tell that Regina didn't want anyone else to know and would keep this just between them until Regina wanted to share. "I'll give you another minute alone if you need. Or we can go back out together?" Snow said.
Regina took a moment and shook her head. "No, no...I'm alright." She nodded, she splashed a bit of water on her face and let out a small sigh, drying her face she then turned to Snow. "Together." She replied. She passed at the door, putting on a small fake smile and sat back down next to Henry, listening to their conversation needing her mind to be focused on something else entirely. Perhaps Henry knew more about this thing that they were fighting, but she didn't want to lay anything on him too fast, she needed to protect him at all cost. Snow had nodded just before Regina left the bathroom. "At least it's not any worse than just bruised." She said softly and nodded hearing the reply and once Regina was ready, they walked out, Snow hearing back to where her family was sat.
David sighed a little and looked at the time. "We probably should get you to bed." He said to Henry not realising it was so late, all concept of time has gone and it was utterly strange. He leaned back in his seat and saw Regina and Snow coming back out of the bathroom and joining them again. He pressed a kiss to Snow's temple and grabbed his coat that Emma had returned for him. "I was just discussing getting Henry back home to bed? Unless he's allowed one night off?" He grinned with a wink to Henry. Regina nodded though she was trying to remember what she'd seen in her vision, it was so vivid, yet still so confusing at the same time, wishing she could just see what happened from start to finish in chronological order. "I think, I will head to bed myself, it is rather late." Regina said standing up and pulling her shirt down straight, she may be injured but her appearance still mattered.
Snow nodded in agreement with Regina and the other words for bed. "It will be getting late soon." She agreed as she stood up, now that there was mention of going to bed, she was starting to feel exhausted. Henry hav a small grin at his grandfather's wink but hearing Emma say that he needed to go to bed he was a little disappointed as he wanted to stay up later but nodded. "And I need my rest for tomorrow." He said, grinning at David. It was clear he was excited to be at the station tomorrow, to be able to try and figure out what happened. David chuckled and draped his brown leather coat over one shoulder and patted Henry on the back. "That you do. I can't wait either. Let's get you back home kiddo." He said meaning the loft. "You coming?" He asked Emma softly and looked at snow with a smile as she stood up.
