Three days before the rebellion

The next morning, Johan wasted no time. As soon as the sun began to shine on the castle tower, he was already prepared, dressed neatly in his battle cloak. His steps were steady as he made his way to the castle's meeting room, where Duke Arganus, Prince Philip, and the core members of their team were already waiting for him.

The large wooden door creaked as Johan pushed it open, met by the serious gazes of everyone in the room. Duke Arganus, a sturdy man with dark blue hair streaked with grey and piercing eyes, sat at the end of a long table. Beside him, Prince Philip watched Johan with a mix of relief and caution. This was the moment they had all been waiting for: the day of the secret meeting to discuss the rebellion that would shake the kingdom.

"Johan," Duke Arganus began in a heavy voice, "before we start, let me express my thanks for your efforts thus far. Without your support, this plan would not have been possible."
