Silver released a cry of pain as he subconsciously grabbed his left shoulder, only for him to feel a sharp object in his palm.
He gritted his teeth and looked at his left shoulder. To his surprise, confusion, and fear, he saw the tip of an arrowhead protruding out of his left shoulder.
And on the tip of the arrowhead was a green liquid that gave off a disgusting smell.
'Poison!' Silver exclaimed in fear as he ran without stopping.
However, his speed had reduced and was no longer as fast as before, causing the distance between him and Hans to reduce further.
He grabbed the arrow, and with gritted teeth, he pulled it out rather crudely.
"AHHH!"
Silver screamed in more pain as he injured more of his shoulder while trying to pull out the arrow as he ran.
'I'm so foolish. I should have stopped running and then tried to pull out the arrow.'
Silver's eyes became watery as his left arm became limp and his speed decreased drastically. He cursed in fear and frustration, and then he threw the arrow away.
'Shit! Shit Shit! Shit!' Silver cursed with a panicked expression.
"I'VE POISONED YOU, YOU STUPID SPARTAN KID! THE POISON WILL NOT JUST KILL YOU, BUT IT'LL ALSO GIVE YOU A VERY PAINFUL DEATH!"
"THIS IS FOR DARING TO STEAL OUR PREY YOU BASTARD!"
Han's voice reverberated throughout the forest, his voice clearly filled with anger as he chased after Silver.
As he ran, he could not help but curse Silver a thousand times in his heart. Not only was he delaying him and Joe, but he was practically ruining his body which he planned on selling for a lot of money.
His original plan was to capture Silver alive and then sell him to a rich and interested buyer. A living Spartan was more valuable than a dead Spartan.
And a living royal Spartan was definitely more valuable than a dead royal Spartan.
Hans' previous plan did not involve damaging Silver's body, but after what he did, his plan had already failed.
At first, he did not plan on shooting a poisonous arrow. But after remembering that Silver was a Morningstar, and the insane ability of the Morningstar bloodline, he changed his mind and chose to fire a poisonous arrow to kill him on time and get out of the already dangerous forest.
He just hoped that the poison would not ruin Silver's heart or else the price for his heart would drop.
Meanwhile, when Silver heard Hans' words he felt his heart skip a few beats in fear.
Although he was not as knowledgeable as his mom when it came to poisons, he knew that the poison was something his body which had no shred of mystic energy could handle.
He was afraid.
'If my bloodline was awakened I wouldn't have to worry about the poison.'
Silver's expression became gloomy as thoughts about his bloodline came to his mind.
A few seconds later, he shook his head and focused.
'No time to have distracting thoughts. I need to find a way to escape.'
His right hand moved into one of the gourds that was on his waist. He grabbed it, but then he paused.
'If I pour this medicine on my shoulder and it heals, would the poison be stuck inside my shoulder with no way of going out?'
As Silver was stuck in a dilemma, he failed to notice something that Hans noticed.
"What the fuck is up with that Spartan kid? He should have fallen and started screaming in the last few minutes."
Hans wore a perplexed expression as he watched Silver run without screaming and writhing in pain.
"That poison can even cause me who is an Adept serious injuries. How is he still able to run?"
"Don't tell me his bloodline has awakened? But that should be impossible right?"
As Hans pondered over this baffling scene before him with wide eyes, he felt a presence behind him, and he turned.
His eyes brightened.
"Make sure not to damage his heart or his body too much!"
BANG!
The second he spoke, a figure landed beside him with an immense force. The ground broke apart, causing stones, pebbles, and a large cloud of dust to appear beside Hans.
As the stones and pebbles flew toward Hans, it stopped mid-air before falling to the ground.
The dust cloud cleared for a moment and Joe's figure was revealed, and in his hands was his greatsword.
Hans grinned when he saw Joe's posture, "Don't miss."
Joe only grunted in response.
Crack!
The ground cracked.

Meanwhile, as Joe was preparing his attack, Silver was stuck in a dilemma on whether he should pour the medicine he had previously prepared before his attack on the savage wolf.
After thinking for a second, he made a decision.
He removed the covering on the gourd and without hesitation, he poured it on the injury on his left shoulder.
In normal circumstances, he only needed to pour about ten percent of the medicine, but because he was running, he poured almost half of it, with most of it pouring to the ground.
As he poured the medicine, he could not help but wonder if he made the right decision.
The main reason he decided to use the medicine was because he was afraid of blood loss. He knew that if he lost too much blood, he could become dizzy and weak, which would make it much easier for his pursuers to capture him.
'As for the poison, thankfully it seems like it's a slow-acting poison. I need to find a place to hide so that I can find a way to deal with the poison.' Silver thought.
Whoosh!
Just as Silver was about to think of where he could hide, his instincts blared to life more than ever before.
This time, Silver felt… death.
He looked back with a panicked expression, and when he did, his heart stopped.
He saw Joe take a weird stance, and in the blink of an eye, Silver only saw a flash before he saw Joe's massive figure before him while swinging his greatsword at his neck.
Silver froze.
