"Father?"

Silver's gaze was one that was filled with shock and disbelief as he looked at his father.

His father's chiseled and rugged face with a full beard and dark blue eyes made Silver to feel a strange sensation which he had forgotten ever since his rite of passage happened.

Comfort and Safety.

"Father."

Silver said again, but this time, with tears threatening to spill out of his eyes.

"Why are you crying? I surely did not raised you to be a crybaby."

Despite the words his father said, Silver could see a smile on his father's lips. He didn't know why, but he felt like his father was proud.

"Hehehe. I thought I was going to die here and not tell my story."

Silver sniffed and wiped away the tears from his eyes as he spoke with a relieved tone.

His father seeing this, smiled.

"Silver!"

Just as Silver was struggling to reel in the tears in his eyes, he heard a very familiar voice and he was startled.
