Back at the beach:
The sun hung low on the horizon, and it painted the sky in shades of orange and gold. And the waves in the sea lapped gently against the shore. The beach was stretched out before them endlessly, and it looked perfectly like a canvas of soft and golden sand that sparkled like crushed diamonds under the fading light.
Eliza stood at the edge of the seawater, her feet were buried in the cool sand, and her right hand was interlocked with Vaughn's left hand. His laugh was deep and rich, and it carried over the sound of the waves as he pulled her closer.
Vaughn said while grinning at Eliza. "Come on.. The others are already setting up. Don't tell me you're planning to just stand here and admire the view."
Eliza rolled her eyes at Vaughn, but there was a smile on her lips as she responded as she leaned against his chest. "Maybe I just like to admire the view."
