Where are you

The rest of the morning passed in a blur of frustration and worry. I couldn't shake the feeling of guilt and unease that had settled in my chest. I knew I had to find Riley, to talk to her, and to try and make sense of what had happened. But every time I caught a glimpse of her, she would disappear around a corner or slip into a room, avoiding me at every turn.

By midday, I was growing increasingly anxious. I needed to speak with her, to explain, to apologize, to do anything that might mend the rift that seemed to be widening between us. I found myself wandering the castle aimlessly, my mind racing with thoughts of what to say, how to approach her.

As I turned a corner near the library, I nearly bumped into one of the maids. She gasped, startled, and quickly bowed. "Forgive me, Lady Seraphine. I didn't see you there."

I waved a hand dismissively. "It's alright. Have you seen Riley? I need to speak with her."
