The bully and the smart kid

Chapter 30.

I watched him lower his head a bit and everyone wandered what his response would be. Instead of talking, he chuckled softly and I caught the red ghoul eyes emerging from his full cover mask.

"I always love kids who think they are special. It's an honor to break them".

Blue bird spoke and everyone gasped. "are you sure about this, Blue bird? Yumeko asked and he let his fingers mess around his cloak jacket. It entered into the middle range, which was opened via his buttons. I heard the click sound and saw Glenn and Yumeko vanish, to give us room.

There was an explosion that blew me away into the walls. I gasped and looked at blue bird who stood in center, glaring at me with a smirk of confidence. It was like he blew himself up and regenerated almost immediately. So his regeneration skill was faster than ever, but let's see what type of Kagune he uses.

"So you are still alive huh? I though I could end you with that string. He muttered and I pulled out my Kagune.

"I tear you apart, bully". I murmured and launched at him. Firing my spikes at him and using the speed to vanished and reappear in front of him. I tried to cut him open but he jumped up and slammed down again. I wasn't there as I had slipped past him already, launching another string of attack.

He countered after a block but I was too fast, I dashed behind him in his blind spot and pierced my Kagune in his back, passing it through to his chest. He gagged and gurgled, sending shockwave around the stadium.

"The prince actually stabbed him. Blue bird is really going to lose". A ghoul muttered out in a distance. Other ghouls started muttering words as my fast approach cut him by surprise.

"You are…one of a kind". Blue bird said and turned to look at me, as I still had my Kagune buried in his back.

"but that won't do yet". He snapped and I felt my stomach lashed by a red thick strong substance that came of his spine, I was pushed to the ground. Rolling so fast, I abruptly stopped when he caught my legs with his Kagune and crashed me against the walls. I groaned as blood spilled out my mouth.

"Grrrh…" I coughed out more blood as he launched himself at me wiping me across the court. He was fast, using only Rashumon Kagune but to the best of it's potential.

I grinned as I dodged a few of his attacks but it was no use. His Kagune shot out of every part of his body, sending me back against the very wall I was crashed into.

"I just hate you little peasant, you think you are wise, strong and special but no you're nothing but blind sheeps in a wide open field of lions". He muttered as he raised me up and attempted to snap my neck.

"Nice…speech, dad". I scoffed as I managed to say that very word. I pressed hard against his hand grinned at him. He was rather shocked as he didn't ecpect such behavior from me but what receive next was even more shocking.

I pulled out my Phoenix dive to shoot spikes at him but he tied it up with his own Kagune, silencing my Kagune while choking me to death. I snarled again at him and he wandered why. Ghouls started mistaken their votes, placing him as the possible winner of this duel.

"why smile when you are about to die. Yumeko will not save you now". He scoffed in assurance.

"Who says am done fighting. Besides all I needed was to get close to you first". I moaned in a low voice and pulled out a spike from my Kagune wing, stabbing his clutching hands and ripping off some flesh.

He groaned in pain but before he could even make a move, i pumped myself to swirl above him. Cutting his head as I swirled above him. Still in mid air, I heard the viewers gasp with shock as I had cut his head off. But still in maid air, flying traces of his blood conjoined together, pulling his head back to his body.

It was a creepy sight as I was in a great deal of shock. That I didn't even see when he flipped his Kagune at my face, crashing me against the wall. It cracked and so did my bones, groaning on the floor as I struggled to stand. That move there was unbelievable yet crazy, coming from both of us. I risked it all to kill him and when I though I had, he pulled his head back into his body. I studied his movements, he was moving fine and I could tell he was now getting serious.

"That's enough". Yumeko muttered as she appeared in between us.

"As you wish, My Princess". He said and took a bow.

"Clearly…I didn't win". I murmured to myself, looking down at the ground.

"not bad prince Ichigo". A voice said and I looked up to see the ghouls, I had just beaten up a couple minutes ago cheering me on. I smirked but felt I wasn't yet good enough,

prefers a training session with Rin might help.

No! Things are not alright as of yet, what kind of ghoul is he exactly? An explosion string attacked to his chest and high level regeneration skill. Who is this guy? As I moaned over my loss, I felt the eyes of Yumeko glaring at me.

"Yuemko? I muttered and she didn't respond.

"Told you, you are strong enough for him yet". She reminded me of what she said last night after the sex. I looked away from her questionable gaze and that of Glenn.

"Honsetly, the victory is clearly your master Ichigo". Blue bird said and I gasped in shock.

"Yes! You are the first of many to ever cut off my head. Clearly, that wasn't your aim, was it? He asked and stretched out his left hand.

Everyone gasped as they caught the sight of blood dripping of his robe. He was clearly injured and that was taking quite a slow process to regenerate.

"guess you figure out, blue bird". I smirk and even Yumeko was shocked. "After you big opening display of how your regeneration was high and recorded a nice speed metre. I though I carry out my own experiment". I said and heard everyone gasped. I stood up and pulled in closer to him. From the way I spoke and walked, one could tell I was on a whole different level.

"I let you have your usual fun and then I had my take of the cherry. Slashing your head off but mainly focusing on your shoulders to let you bless out". I muttered.

"But why do such? A ghoul with blond hair asked and I let out a smirk.

"Because he will be so focus on trying to retrieve his flying head and forget about regenerating his shoulders. Which will let him bleed out and die, after a short while". I mentioned and they all gasp again.

"Just brilliant but I realized quickly. Perhaps any other ghoul could fall for this but no me. Despite the result of our battle, I'll say that you are a cunning and tricky competitor, that must not be underestimated". Blue bird said and Yumeko smiled at me but I didn't return it back.

"So…? Glenn stuttered and everyone squeezed their face as we knew what she was going to say.

"Yes! I proclaim you the victor, Prince Ichigo". Blue bird said and turned to leave. Yumeko offered another smile and didn't return it, she eventually went off following Blue bird and I let out a heavy exhale. It was finally over.

I let myself into my room after a long bath in the shower, wearing my pajamas and staring around in the room. I heard the beeping sound of the phone, which I hid by the frame of the bed, just in between the foam and frame. I unlocked it and went expressionless immediately as the first message which popped up on the screen was beyond an emergency.
