Broken Thesis

"I made up my mind," he said. "I'll approach Amamiya no matter what will be the consequences."

A few minutes after leaving his house, the concept of reset and Hikaru's death won't leave his mind. Now having a tidied wardrobe, he felt the confidence running through his veins to confront Hina and take out all of information from her.

"Yeah, this seems weird to approach her despite all the things I've done and all the mishaps she cost me. But, still even though she might be the one who killed Hikaru and one day I could dispose her and make her pay.

"This time she might be useful in figuring out what the f*ck was behind this 'reset' thing. How could she, someone whom I don't know, able to predict my every move. There's so much mysterious things lingering beside her that's why I'm not gonna let her off the hook even if I would make myself a lunatic."

After that internal monologue that seems cringe to hear, he walks on forward like nothing happens.

"Then there's that reality shift. Does 'reset' also involved in this? It seems someone or something is manipulating reality to make out a more desirable outcome. Hitting up the arcade was probably more plausible thing than to investigating the case of someone with unknown whereabouts." He pauses for a moment.

"Argh!! What a f*ck up life!" He bursted out while clinching both his fists in the middle of the road.

Passersby were shock on what he was doing and that then gathered small attention. Although many people have heard his shout, because it is a residential area, few have taken interest in what's happening there.

"What's that boy doing?"

"Oi, Kiriyama! Not early this morning! Please!" The neighbors response to Toby's flustering.

After hearing such mumblings, embarrassment gets to his nerves and he immediately felt shame for doing such a thing.

"I'm very sorry, Sir," he then said to apologize to the distracted neighborhood.

"*sigh....*hoooo, That's close," he sighed.

After settling the situation, one lesson has planted to his mind, that is if you really feel shit, don't just impulsively yell in the middle of the road like a dumbass.

"Well that feels embarrassing. Anyways, I need to hurry up or else more anomalies will come bite my ass off," he mockingly said.

*Eukkk

"Huh?"

Just a few blocks away from his house, bad luck has caught him off guard. "F*ck off!!!", he yelled. His newly cleaned shoes have scoop a the stains of a fresh, hot dog poop in the middle of the road.

"Kiriyama! Shut up!", the residents of the block said back to him.

The settlement went on longer than what Toby have expected. "Shit! Even if it's not anomaly. Crap! I need to hurry up! What time it is again?", he reached to his phone on his pocket.

"Huh? Wait wait wait, where's my phone?", his holy item was not in his arsenal right now.

"Crap! It's too late already to go home and fetch it. This leaves me no choice then. *sigh", he sighed after deciding to just leave his phone in their house, as if someone would be interested in his boring phone full of anime and stuff.

...

He finally reach the school, "Phew... Right off the bat." He just barely managed to enter in before the school bell rings.

Drench with sweat and haggards, smelling all the way out due to crap sticked to his shoes.

"Nice. No one notices, I just need to go to washstand to wash this off," he said after looking around him confirming first before going straight away to wash his shoes.

"Now it's cleaned up, it's time to go to the class," he sighed and went his way. On his way,

"Hey, Kiriyama where have you been?", someone pointed him while he's walking.

"Yeah, what's up?" He said after confirming that it was his classmates. He turned on a wry smile in front of him, even though half a year have passed, he's not really that close with other of his classmates aside from Yamato and Hikaru.

"Wait, have you stepped on something?", one of his classmate said while holding a flower pot filled with clay dirt.

"Ah! Haha... It's nothing," he was just hiding the truth about his encounter with that shit on the road. "Hmm, then where's that wet shoes came from?"

"No," he's now serious, "I said it's nothing to be worried about." "Uh... Uh, okay," the other classmates said while feeling the awkwardness in the conversation, because of course they don't know Toby that well, adding to that after they just saw Toby's unpleasant manner yesterday.

"Hooo... That's close," he uttered to himself. "It's my doom if they knows."

*ding

"W-well, looks like the 1st period will start." "Y-yeah, let's go or else..." The students were looking their way to slip off on being Toby's acquaintance.

The rest of his classmates went on first, while Toby was at the back, thinking about if the smell of poop in his shoes still lingers in the air.

He lets the things to go their way and then he went ahead their classroom.

Entering the room, he felt nothing out of normal. Then suddenly, someone crossed his back that brought him to high up his senses.

"Sit to your chair, Kiriyama. Now!", said by someone in a deep voice.

"What's wrong, Mr. Kou?...", he mockingly said to the teacher.

Their eyes met and glared to each other with killing intent as if they would round and round any moment.

"Hmm, you two... Bold of you to block the way," someone said.

"Kyaaah!", said by one of the students out of excitement. "It's Amamiya-san." As if they have just seen the most beautiful student in their school.

"Ara, Kiriyama-kun your here already. Maybe you two should stand side for us to enter, please," she said to the two.

"Tch." Toby uttered.

Mr. Kou props his glasses and letted Toby get away, "All of you, take your seat." He walks away forward letting the others students including Hina to enter the classroom. Before that, he warns Toby regarding his threat through going eye to eye with him.

"Ara-ara, you seems spacing out, Killi-ya-ma-kun."
