The story is about a traveller named Gilgamel from Earth who was born into a noble family. However, he ran away from home after years of mistreatment from other family members.

During his escape, he met a travelling female fortune teller who guided him into the world of magic. Thanks to her, Gilgamel became a wizard and acquired a magical book that bestowed upon him various abilities, including the ability to recognize everything in the world. 

From that point on, Gilgamel's adventure in the realm of magic commenced.
