Gilgamel, a transmigrator from Earth, was reborn as a descendant of a noble family — but years of mistreatment at the hands of his own kin drove him to flee, leaving his name and bloodline behind.
During his escape, he crossed paths with a wandering fortune teller whose prophecies opened the gates to a world of magic. Under her guidance, Gilgamel awakened as a wizard and came into possession of a mysterious book — a magic item that granted him the power to perceive the true nature of all things.
With each step toward greater strength, the book unveils new abilities, each one a key to deeper secrets and hidden realms.
Thus began Gilgamel’s journey — not just to master magic, but to carve out a life entirely his own, far from the shadows of his past.
The story is great and really draws you in. The update schedule is alright, but the "incomplete" uploads are irritating at times. I would suggest that the author complete the chapters first in a word doc, then upload them. outside of that gripe, excellent series so far!
it's a great story but the power system is inconsistent like something which tier 1 is misprinted as tier2 power.
At Chapter 40, I find myself enjoying the unfolding narrative. The story feels like a serene journey through the protagonist's daily life, devoid of major story arcs or deep dives into the world's mechanics, including its magic systems. The lack of detailed exposition creates an air of mystery, which, while intriguing, leaves much to the imagination. The concept behind the story is solid, offering a refreshing break with its tranquil narrative. I anticipate more world-building and eagerly await a significant event to propel the plot forward. Each chapter has been deliberate in its pacing, focusing more on the mundane than on action, drama, or excitement. I look forward to delving deeper into the story, hoping to uncover more layers of its world and witness the evolution of its characters in chapters to come.
I’m enjoying the story so far, the only issue is with the upload speed and the incomplete chapters
Great story so far with good character focus and development [img=update]
great story but a little slow on the updates
