Grand mansion in the middle of the forest

Cassie opened her eyes slowly, the large room was Cassie's first sight. This wasn't her home.

Cassie wandered around, there was no one in this room but her.

The screeching sound of the door distracted Cassie. A man came out wearing a white t-shirt and long black pants, followed by a blonde woman behind him.

"You're awake," said the blonde woman, approaching Cassie.

Cassie backed up her position a little, "Who are you? Why am I here?" Cassie's voice trembled slightly as she looked at the tall, slightly stocky man who was now standing next to Cassie.

The man grinned, "so this is Lucca's target?" he said.

Cassie frowned at the mention of someone's name, 'Lucca?'

"Nice target she is, he looks very weak-" One hand blocked the woman's mouth, "what are you doing? Why are you blocking my mouth?" she said, her face looking annoyed at the stocky man.

"You can't cross the line," the man said, his eyes slightly bulging.

Cassie was silent, she didn't understand what the two people in front of her were saying.

"Who are you, what's wrong with Mr. Lucca?" said Cassie, making the two strangers turn their eyes to Cassie.

The eagle-eyed woman raised one corner of her lips, "You seem to have a lot to say," she said.

The woman's hand was seen trying to reach Cassie's wrist, Cassie slightly dodged in fear when the woman managed to reach her.

Before Cassie's consciousness completely disappeared, Cassie's eyes saw the two people smiling. And after that, it was dark.

Cassie rose from her sleep with a sharp intake of breath, her eyes wandering around. This was her room.

Cassie let out her breath in relief, "Huft... Looks like I had a bad dream"

Cassie looked at the clock on the wall, it was currently ten at night. Cassie remembered that she had fallen asleep after coming home from work, but Cassie couldn't remember what happened before.

A familiar sound came from Cassie's stomach, it seemed like eating boiled noodles mixed with eggs would be good.

Cassie got off her bed, went to the kitchen, and opened all the cabinets including the refrigerator. But to no avail, Cassie didn't find any of her noodles.

Cassie took a breath, enjoying the night breeze that made her a little calmer. Her hand carrying a black plastic bag that contained a delicious secret.

Right after Cassie stepped into the house, the phone rang.

Cassie averted her eyes, shifting her phone screen to the right to receive the call that turned out to be from her sister.

"Yeah, what's calling?" said Cassie, before her sister could say hello.

Kevin could be heard clucking from the other side, "You're such a thug, you must be angry all the time" he said.

Kevin was currently at the internet cafe with his three friends.

Cassie smiled, "Well, what's wrong? You usually only call when you need something."

Kevin smiled happily from the other side, "You know what. Do you have money?" Kevin asked to the point.

Cassie was right, Kevin would only call her when he needed something. If he didn't need anything he could probably disappear from this earth.

"Nothing," said Cassie making Kevin bend his face back,

"You shouldn't waste money, I don't have much money right now. Not to mention that your tuition arrears are very large now, so I beg you to be economical from now on." Cassie said at length.

Kevin, who had activated the speaker mode on his cell phone, heard what Cassie said, as did his friends.

Kevin moved his lips silently, 'nothing, my brother is poor at the moment' Kevin said, complete with waving hand gestures.

"I understand, I'll see you later. I'll hang up." Kevin said

"Yes, don't forget to go home, you still have a house and me. Don't make the internet cafe your home until you sleep there." Cassie said, which Kevin heard lazily.

After the call was completely closed, Cassie turned her gaze to the front and took a breath. The taste and image of her delicious instant noodles were gone, it looked like Cassie was going to postpone today's dinner schedule.

Cassie's feet stepped wearily towards the room, unfolded her soft blanket, and lay down. Afterward, Cassie began to delve into her subconscious.

Early in the morning, Cassie was already hanging out at one of Nelson's famous cafes, accompanied of course by her best friend. Hanna.

"Why is your face so sad?" Hanna said, opening the conversation this morning.

Cassie in her white outfit and blue jeans today was silent, her hands stirring the coffee in front of her.

"Yeah, I had a bad dream last night," Cassie said.

Hanna finished chewing the food in her mouth, "proper, what did you dream?"

Hearing Hanna's question, Cassie furrowed her forehead trying to recall last night.

"I don't remember, but it was very tiring," Cassie said.

"That's just the way it is." Hanna looked at the clock in her hand, "I think I should go now, I have an appointment" she said packing her bag and standing up.

"I'll go too," said Cassie looking at the clock on her cell phone

Simultaneously, Cassie and Hanna walked out of the cafe and parted ways as they had different paths to take.

"Bye until we meet again," Hanna shouted, throwing smiles at each other and waving goodbye.

Cassie arrived at the office at seven in the morning, just as she was scheduled to go in.

Several people had already arrived at the office in equally neat clothes.

"Hi Cassie," greeted Liliana who had just arrived at the office.

Cassie smiled, "Hi, Liliana." Cassie said.

Liliana sat in the seat next to Cassie, which was hers.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot to tell you," said Liliana, who was looking for something on her computer monitor.

Cassie turned her full attention to Liliana, "What's wrong? You want to give me a present?" Cassie grinned

Liliana seemed to smile back, "Yeah, maybe this is a special gift I'll give you." she giggled.

"Wow, what's wrong, where's the present?" Cassie said, crawling closer to Liliana.

Liliana smiled mischievously, "The present is..." Cassie waited expectantly, "You're going to have a meeting with Mr. Lucca!" said Liliana excitedly, while Cassie was stunned.

"What?!" Cassie yelled a little.

Liliana giggled, "Yes, you're very lucky, I'm even eager to be alone with that handsome man. But the Director asked you to have a meeting with Mr. Lucca" Liliana explained a little disappointed with the Director's decision.

"Why me?" Cassie pointed at herself.

"Because you're the most articulate in our department. Don't you like it?"

Cassie scratched her head that wasn't itchy, "It's not that I don't like it... It's just that I can't" Cassie said.

"You can't help but come to Cassie. I'm going out to meet a client, bye Cassie Fighting!" Liliana said as she walked away.

Cassie was pensive, 'Ah why me?' Cassie scratched her face, 'I can't...' Cassie roared silently.

Cassie's days passed uneasily, how could she even be appointed for a meeting with Lucca, the man who made Cassie's self-esteem drop when she first met him.

Cassie exhaled, it was four o'clock in the afternoon. But Cassie hadn't heard the news of the meeting yet.

'Is the meeting not happening today?' Cassie muttered to herself.

"Cassie" someone called out, startling Cassie out of her reverie.

Cassie turned her head spontaneously, seeing the man dressed in all black that Cassie had seen again today standing in front of Cassie.

"Yes... Yes sir," Cassie replied hurriedly standing up.

"You didn't forget about today's meeting did you?" asked Lucca, making Cassie a little nervous

Cassie corrected the position of her hair, "yes sir, of course, I didn't forget" Cassie replied nervously

"Let's go, we have a meeting somewhere else," said Lucca,

"Yes sir," Cassie replied hurriedly following Lucca's big steps that were now far ahead of her.

Cassie was now completely alone with this flat-faced man in the car, where this car was going Cassie didn't know.

As if there was no life, for the entire time the car was driving fifteen minutes ago, there was no conversation between the two. Lucca was busy driving and Cassie was busy with her thoughts.

'Isn't this the road to the countryside?' Cassie muttered to herself, looking at the outside window that displayed large and towering trees.

Cassie turned her gaze to the man beside her, "Sir, I'm sorry to say that since we left I didn't know where we were going. But... Is this the right road?" asked Cassie with a clumsy smile.

Lucca looked at Cassie for a moment, "We're here, this is my house. Let's go down," said Lucca, getting out of the car ahead of Cassie who was still stunned.

The huge towering door mesmerized Cassie, her mouth gaping at the mansion that was stranded among the towering trees in front of her.

'Waw' muttered Cassie

"Come in," Lucca invited,

Cassie walked slowly into the house, the furniture in this house was on par with the size of the house. It was very big.

This house was perfectly designed, and various antiques were displayed like a museum.

Cassie approached a large urn that really caught her attention, her hand stroking the urn carefully.

"This looks like it's very expensive" Cassie muttered.

"Yes, it's expensive," said Lucca who apparently heard Cassie.

Cassie's eyes were completely mesmerized by all the items in this magnificent house, "If sold, how much would it cost sir?" Cassie said, making Lucca chuckle.

"Probably equivalent to my car," said Lucca, making Cassie open her mouth.

"Wow, the price is unbelievable," said Cassie.

"This wall looks like it can be climbed," Cassie chuckled.

Luca chuckled, "Do you want to try it?" he said making Cassie think twice.

Cassie shook her head, "no hehe"

Cassie turned her body around, "Is-"

Guess what, this time Lucca was right behind Cassie making Cassie surprised by her.

"You still want to ask?" said Lucca, taking a step closer to Cassie.

Cassie swallowed her saliva, her feet going backward as Lucca's feet took a step forward.

Cassie's heart was racing, the look in Lucca's eyes now seemed different from before.

Those eyes looked very, very creepy to Cassie.

Cassie smiled clumsily, "Ah... N-no, I guess... I do ask a lot of questions" Cassie said nervously.

Lucca puckered one corner of her thin lips, "you're very different today" Lucca murmured, still with the same gaze

Cassie blinked her eyes a few times, if you noticed Lucca's appearance today was completely disheveled. The black shirt she was wearing right now was no longer tightly covered by the tie. Lucca's shirt was already unbuttoned almost halfway, exposing the man's shiny cleavage.

Cassie was really scared, she wasn't lying. The feelings churning inside her chest, her wild thoughts, and the sight of her eyes constantly fixed on that cleavage made Cassie uncomfortable.

"Sir... I'm sorry if I talk too much, I'm just like this" Cassie said feeling bad that the man should be offended by all of Cassie's questions.

Lucca's gaze shifted to the object behind Cassie, "It's okay. Ask me everything if you're still curious." Lucca said making Cassie completely immobilized

"Ah... No, I won't ask again" said Cassie

As Lucca smiled widely, her small eyes became interested.

Lucca advanced her steps quickly, making Cassie spontaneously retreat backward quickly.

"If there's nothing to ask, let's move on," Lucca said, her large hand right behind Cassie. Keeping Cassie's small head from touching the wall behind her.

'What's going on? Why is Mr. Lucca talking like that?' Cassie asked herself.

Lucca moved her body forward, narrowing the distance between the wall, herself, and Cassie.

'he's so hot'

"There's no one in this house but us"
