Celine's POV

"So you and Jake have been close friends since childhood?" I asked Scott on our way to the market.

"Yes, both Steel and I,he chose us as his Beta and Gamma when he came back from training." He replied and took a left turn while driving.

"You see Jake wasn't like this before the training. He was a lovely soul. He couldn't kill a fly then,the training turned him to who he is now." He smiled, reminiscing the events of the past.

"Are you sure, I'm finding it difficult to even imagine him smiling." I replied.

"Jake might be tough outside but he still has a heart deep down." Scott replied.

I didn't want to continue the conversation about Jake again. He doesn't mean anything to me. I shouldn't want to know more about him.
