mummy! Mummy!

Regina's eyes widened in disbelief... She didn't just! Although she knew her sister was crazy but not to this level. This was insane!

Even the bodyguards looked a little hesitant. Of course it was deemed unforgivable to beat up a woman for no reason at all. It's not like she's a threat to who they were protecting or anything, but the warning glare they received from Sasha was enough to convince them to go ahead.

" Pl-please, just let-let me go! I promise I won't disturb you ever again! I promise. " Regina begged, but only a soft chuckle escaped hr sister's lips. '' Hell nah, not after that stunt you tried to pull."

" I mean, what did you take me for? " She scoffed and rolled her eyes. " You've made me loose my independence, just so I could save our image. I can no longer be out in the public and do as I please, as everyone would try to brings us down with the slightest mistake. " She scoffed and rolled her eyes.

" The only thing good about that marriage, is the groom. " She said ina dreamy voice and pulled out a gun from her bag. " Don't worry, I won't let you suffer. I mean, you're homeless and I'm sure you've received the email from that so called prestigious college of medicine you wanted to attend so badly. " She sneered.

" Although, your death won't be a quick one. I'll just have to let you bleed to death, aren't I the best?" She tilted her head to the side and watched as Regina screamed painfully as she was being hit.

Regina felt a deep-seated soreness that permeated her entire body after being beaten up by the bodyguard. The physical assault had left her with a multitude of aches and pains, each one a stark reminder of the brutality she had endured.

Her face throbbed with pain, her cheekbones tender to the touch from the repeated blows. Her eyes felt puffy and swollen, her eyelids heavy with the weight of her tears. Her nose stung, and her lips were cracked and bruised.

Her torso and abdomen ached from the kicks and punches she had received, making every breath a painful reminder of the attack. Her ribs felt tender, and her back was a canvas of bruises and welts. Even her arms and legs felt heavy and sore, as if the very life had been beaten out of her.

But the physical pain was only a fraction of the suffering Regina endured. The emotional toll of being beaten up at her sister's behest was a crushing weight that threatened to consume her. She felt broken, shattered, and utterly defeated... What have I done to deserve such hate?! She gritted her teeth in pain.

The knowledge that her own sister had ordered the attack made the pain even more unbearable. Regina felt betrayed, abandoned, and utterly alone. The soreness she felt was a constant reminder of her vulnerability, a nagging ache that refused to subside.

As she struggled to come to terms with what had happened, Regina felt like she was drowning in a sea of despair.

The soreness was a constant reminder that she had been broken, that her body and spirit had been shattered by the very person she should have been able to trust.

" Look at her. She's so pathetic. " She chuckled and cocked the gun she was holding.

Regina struggled to get up. She was pregnant for goodness sake! How could her own blood do this to her?

" Don't worry after a few days of your absence, people will forget about youm you're a nonentity to society anyway. " Sasha shrugged.

" Sasha wai—" But before she could finish her sentence, a loud bang was heard.

As Regina lay on the ground, she felt a numbness spreading through her body, as if life itself was slowly draining out of her. The pain from the gunshot wound was intense, but it was nothing compared to the emotional agony she felt as she thought about her life slipping away.

Memories flashed before her eyes, moments where she had felt truly loved and accepted by her friends, not her family. She remembered laughter, inside jokes, and late-night conversations that had made her feel seen and heard. Flora and Athena...if only she hadn't taken the wrong decisions! But at the end of the day isn't it her family's warth that prompted her to act that way?

Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she realized that she had sacrificed those genuine relationships for the sake of her family's approval! I shouldnt have done that if only I knew this would be the outcome— I let them win at the end of the day...

Regret washed over her like a wave. She regretted every decision she had made to appease her family, every compromise she had taken to maintain a facade of harmony. She regretted not standing up for herself, not fighting for what she truly wanted.

As her vision began to blur, Regina's thoughts turned to her sister and family members. She felt a deep-seated hatred for them, for their manipulation, their cruelty, and their betrayal. She wished with every fiber of her being that she had a chance to live again, to exact revenge on those who had wronged her.

"Why did they do this to me?" she thought, her mind racing with anger and hurt. "Why did they take everything from me?"

In her final moments, Regina's heart burned with a fierce desire for justice, for retribution. She wanted to make them pay for what they had done to her, to make them suffer as she had suffered.

But as her life force ebbed away, Regina knew that would never happen. She was trapped in a body that was failing her, unable to move or speak. All she could do was lay there, helpless and enraged, as the darkness closed in around her.

" Mummy! Mummy! Argh is she still sleeping? It's almost 7am... Huh? Is she crying?" A little girl's voice was heard in the background and she slowly opened her eyes to meet an adorable little girl hovering above her with a mischievous grin with soon dissipated into a look of worry.
