Do you intend to kill me?

The students, seated in their seats, stood up in unison as they saw Liam writhing in pain and losing blood. They all proceeded to leave their positions, only to be stopped by Aiden's words.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. If you do, someone might die," Aiden said with a calm face, holding Liam still. "Now, just sit and calmly watch the show."

The students sat back, their eyes glued to Aiden.

"How do I know when his HP has reached its limit?" Aiden asked his system, seemingly lost in what he was doing.

[System: For the first time, you'll know when his body turns hot, and he loses consciousness. Then, he would wake up back.]

"Okay," Aiden replied.

Caught off guard and impaled by an immortal dagger, Liam had no chance to fight back. He could only scream and scratch at Aiden as his life force slipped away.

Adrenaline rush activating… HP renewing.]

Liam watched as his life force was depleted, and strange words appeared before he lost consciousness.

As the weight on his hands turned limp, Aiden saw Liam's eyes close. He pulled out the dagger from Liam's heart, and blood splattered onto his white shirt.

Aiden cleaned the splatter on his face with his handkerchief, and as he did, he heard the system notification:

[System: Host, be at alert. He is waking up now.]

Aiden laughed, conflicted, "Why should I be at alert because of a wounded creature?"

But then, Liam rose from the floor, his massive wound in his chest fully healed.

Aiden's eyes widened in surprise. "What's happening?" he asked his system, searching his mind.

He realized he had made a mistake; he didn't know Liam would regain his full life force and power after waking up.

"I would say, I'm impressed by that. You had me…" Liam said with a laugh which slowly turned to a frown with every passing moment as he said, "But…you shouldn't have done that. You just bought a ticket to your death!"

Aiden was confused. "What are you saying? Can't I just...?"

[System: No, you weren't fast enough. You should have lunged at him and plunged it in. He's back at average strength and alert. I bet he's level 2.]

Aiden protested, "Sorry, but why are you saying this now? You were the one who told me to do this, and you didn't give me the details!"

[System: You didn't ask, I told you the important ones. Now, let me enjoy the fight.]

Liam commanded, "I need five of my strong allies."

Five students stood up, their eyes turning gray, their skin decaying, and their bodies contorting into grotesque positions. They transformed into undead creatures, zombies, with a hunger for flesh.

Aiden swiftly activated his dark ember and drew his knife as the five zombies charged towards him. He dodged the first zombie's clumsy swing and struck back with his knife, slicing through its decaying flesh.

The second zombie lunged at him with its jaws open wide, but Aiden sidestepped and plunged his knife into its ear.

The third zombie tried to grab him with its bony hands, but Aiden was too fast. He dodged and weaved, striking at the zombies with precision and speed. The dark ember enhanced his abilities, allowing him to take down the zombies with ease.

As the fight intensified, Aiden's knife sliced through the zombies' undead flesh, sending them crashing to the ground. He spun and dodged, avoiding their slow but relentless attacks. With a final strike, Aiden took down the last zombie, its head rolling across the floor.

Breathless and victorious, Aiden stood amidst the pile of undead bodies, his dark ember still burning bright.

Aiden gazed at Liam with a smirk. "Is that all you've got? Undeads are no match for me. Perhaps they should work on getting the breath of life."

His taunt ignited Liam's anger, and he charged at Aiden with bared fangs. Aiden teleported away, reappearing behind Liam and startling him. Liam spun around, his eyes blazing with fury.

Aiden landed a few swift blows, his fists flying at Liam's face and chest. He followed up with a series of kicks, his feet striking Liam's stomach and ribs.

Liam stumbled back but quickly regained his footing.

Aiden pulled out his knife and slashed at Liam, but he dodged just in time.

The fight continued, with both combatants exchanging blows and showcasing their supernatural strength and agility.

However, it soon became apparent that Liam was weakening. His movements slowed, and his punches lost their force.

Aiden realized that Liam needed blood to sustain his strength, as he hadn't had any after regaining his life back. He had heard that vampires like Liam required regular feeding to maintain their powers.

Aiden took advantage of Liam's weakness and landed a series of swift kicks, sending him crashing to the ground.

As Liam struggled to get back to his feet, Aiden approached him, knife at the ready. He swiftly switched it with the dagger and plunged it deep into Liam's chest again, earning a cry from Liam's mouth.

"Do you intend to kill me?!" Liam shouted, his voice laced with frenzy.

"Should I not?" Aiden asked, his brows furrowed in response to Liam's seemingly stupid question.

'Doesn't he understand the law of retaliation - evil for evil, and good for good? It's apparent he wants to kill me after aiming for me first.' Aiden thought to himself.

"How do I know when I'm to leave him hanging?" Aiden asked his system.

[System: I'll hack into his details to check his status now..

Host is in critical condition!]

[System: Remove the dagger, put your foot on his wound, and negotiate with him.]

Liam had been begging Aiden as he watched his life force keep decreasing. When Aiden finally removed the dagger, it earned a deafening cry from Liam's mouth, followed by his heart bearing a huge hole.

"I think you've gotten the message now, or do you still have any other plans against me?" Aiden asked, his foot placed on Liam's wound, keeping him down.

With blood coming out of his mouth, Liam struggled to say, "Yes... what... do... you... want?"

"Simple," Aiden replied curtly, "The roles have changed here. First, you become my ally, and second, I'll become the leader of this union."

"What!" Liam exclaimed, making him cough out blood in excess.

"You have a problem with that?" Aiden asked, raising an eyebrow as he pressed his foot harder on Liam's wound.

Liam let out a scream as he shouted, "No, master, I accept being your ally and the third in command!"

"That's more like it," Aiden smiled, but then asked, "But why third? Who sits on the first?"
